Gelato I absolutely love their gelato it’s delicious it’s fresh it’s homemade there’s lots of flavors the staff is all very friendly nice and more than willing to give you a sample I went on a Saturday evening they’re open until 10 o’clock the place was absolutely packed everybody yelling out a flavor that they wanted to try and the staff eagerly scooping and giving the samples out regularly and with a good attitude if that like a party atmosphere inside everybody was laughing and eating gelato it was the licious there’s plenty of places to eat your gelato inside and outside seeing the weather is getting nice I would highly recommend coming here for your gelato it’s all delicious thank you for making such great gelato in east Mesa Arizona voted number one for gelato on Yahoo foods
My parents live a few streets up and said, "you've got to try this gelato, it's amazing." I was a wee bit skeptical because I practically lived on it for a week in Italy and have yet to find good gelato in the states. My mom is like this is the real deal. After my first taste, I looked at her and said, yep this is why it's supposed to taste like. I literally drive 30+ minutes from North Phoenix for gelato; it's that good.
Delicious and authentic sandwiches and Pasta from Italy. A must for anyone looking for authentic European food. Walter and Marty are both great!
A must try. Awesome staff, super authentic food and a just all around great environment. They also serve gelato to end your meal with more flavors than one can count. We'll ne back soon....
Very fresh and authentic. Willing to change sauces on request. No menu as the selections change regularly. Great value
Lots of restaurants talk about keeping it simple, but Walter at Dolce Vita really understands what that means. He imports all his ingredients straight from Italy, from the amazing Finocciato (Fennel Salami) and Bresaola (Air cured beef) to proper Gorgonzola Picante and Pecorino Tuscano. As a guy who really appreciates good cured meat and proper cheese, this place tugs at my heartstrings.
Normally we come just for the world's best gelato. This time we also ate dinner. We had the meatballs and the bruschetta. Both were fantastic. And the bread that comes with the meal is so authentic. Hard crust, soft middle and piping hot.
Great authentic Italian food and the best Gelato made daily. So good we travel from Sun City West to eat there.
We were looking for a real Sicilian Deli and definitely found it here, the bread had a crackle to the crust and great flavor I recommend them all day long and of course you gotta try the Gelato before you leave
Tried this little Italian side restaurant. Shared an order of lasagna. Not as spicy as I expected. Somewhat bland and cold. Kinda spendy. Bread was tasty and so was the peach cobbler gelato.
The gelato is amazing! Best I’ve ever had aside from being in Rome! Customer service is highly lacking. But I’ll keep coming back for the gelato. Haven’t tried the deli food yet.
So far went there twice and still wanting to come back. 1st time went for lunch and had the past carbonara and loved it. You may think the portion at first glance is small but do not be mistaken. I was pretty full right after. Each bite was rich and delightful... I think if it was a larger portion I may have had some serious food coma. Wife had meat lasagna and loved it. 2nd time we took the kids and of course their pizza was delicious... what better way to add slices of prosciutto to Margherita pizza... actually my son was good with a simple Margherita and just took out the prosciutto slices and eat it on its own. Ambience is very homey and staff are genuinely nice and helpful. The Gelato is awesome over there too, great dessert finale to a tasty lunch. Also based on the 2nd time I went there it looks like they rotate some of the flavors there which makes for a new dessert adventure each time!
The best place for authentic Italian. The food was delicious, rich, and perfectly portioned. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The groceries were all authentic and I'm very excited to use them for impressive holiday baskets for friends, family, and clients. The gelato was AMAZING. I had their award winning "Stupify" gelato, and it certainly stunned my husband and I on the spot. This is such a cute, relaxed spot for a quiet date or culinary adventure.
The menu and decor are simple, but the food we ate was fabulous. They also sell gelato and, again, the flavors we tried were outstanding. We also bought some grocery items that are not in the chain stores. We will return any time that we are in the area.
Dolce Vita has the best authentic Italian I've ever had, I don't rave about this place enough because it was my Lil secret til this review lol I have to give them props!!
Absolutely EVERYTHING you want from an Italian Grocery and Gelato Shop! Gelato is hands down the best I've had and the food selection is growing with Pizzas,Pasta, hot/cold Paninis, Meat/Cheese boards, ect.
This trip we had a Margherita Pizza, Cheese board, picked up some (hot)Gardianes, and a to-go of Gelato (they are and were more than happy to do half and half of 2 flavors! Just ask!) We will keep going as long as they keep doing what they've been doing, since my first time there have never had anything but an above and beyond experience!
