7/16/23 2030hrs $40.27. Large pepperoni pizza & garlic, and Parmesan wings! You must try the wings. They are prepped to perfection! Very meaty and juicy! The pizza is very thin. New York style. The sauce is amazing! The pepperoni and the cheese are very flavorful. Highly recommend visiting this place.
This is a great, authentic-feeling, Italian restaurant in North Mesa.
All of their entrees, pizzas, and appetizers have always been great. Specifically the spicy fried calamari is delicious.
The pizzas are thin crust and have plenty of toppings. Lots of regular pizzas such as all meat, supreme pizza, and unique options like the barbecue chicken pizza.
They also have a good wine menu (skip the house Cabernet Sauvignon, it’s not great) and they serve beer. There’s a small bar (to the right when you walk inside) that has good happy hour deals. The restaurant also has outdoor seating for the cooler months. They have propane heaters outside if it’s too cold.
Vito’s hosts comedy shows in the basement. I’ve never been but I hear they are good. I intend to attend one soon.
This is not a cheap restaurant. You’re going to be paying in the range of $20+ for an entree, but the food is good. You also get a bread basket with amazing bread and butter to snack on while waiting. They do have a kid’s menu with decent prices. They’ll even bring out a small plate of raw pizza dough for the kids to play with.
Vito's is a gem in northeast Mesa with fan favorite Italian food. I run a housing tour in northeast Mesa and we have many people show up because we cater Vito's for them to eat. It is a monthly treat for many. I wish I could say it is the luxury homes we are selling but I know it is the lasagna, the bowtie alfredo pasta with cubed blackened chicken, and the baked ziti. If you are thinking about having food for a party, consider calling Vito's as they will take care of everything and it is well worth the cost. Giselle is an amazing manager and Tasos is as well (I hope I am spelling his name properly). I have eaten in and the food and the service is amazing. In the 10-plus years I have been going there, I have seen the same people working so I know they are very experienced people. They rarely make mistakes and when they do, they go above and beyond to address it. When I had a very special dinner with folks from around the country, I had it at Vito's even though I lived in the Scottsdale area at the time. I know I can count on them. They also have the ability to make custom dishes for those with dietary restrictions. (Sorry about the blurry pictures. I will upload better ones from next month's tour when I have more houses on.)
Snowbirds looking for good pizza …. did not disappoint! We arrived 4:15 pm to sit at the bar and enjoy a cocktail (happy hour!!) before eating. Within a short time, the place was packed. We each ordered our own pizza. So glad we found this place … will definitely be returning! Bartender Tiffany was efficient and friendly. Highly recommend.
Went here for happy hour today. $1 off drafts/$1 off glasses of wine /$3 off starters in the bar and patio. Monday's are All You Can Eat pasta at $11.99. Can't go wrong with these offerings. Greg the server/bartender was fantastic and very personable. Give it a try if you haven't yet 😉.
Food was awesome. Staff was great. Will be back
I had the Lobster Ravioli and it was really good. My wife had the Chicken Alfredo she wasn't a fan said it need more sauce. The meatball slider appetizers was amazing. Service was excellent and food was out in a reasonable time. Even being completely full compacity.
If you are eating Italian and want to enjoy the full experience, bring the family or date to Vito's!!! From their welcoming setup to old Italian stylings, food tastes like a little back home Italy. Freshly made croutons for their salads. and perfect meats! The managers are as friendly as they can be and so are the servers. We will be visiting again soon!
Food was delicious! We got take out and it was ready when I arrived. The portions were big and yummy. We definitely will be returning to try other dishes. The garlic knots were huge! So were the meatballs in the penne sausage. The Alfredo was way better than anyone else’s cough cough olive gardens 😂
A great dining experience! Excellent scratch made food, decent pricing considering the quality. Our server, Donald, was superb. He was knowledgeable, personable and knew the menu well. Well definitely go back. Highly recommended!
