Excellent service! Wonderful food! I loved my baked shrimp, haddock and lobster tail dinner with baked potato. My companion loved the fried scallops, shrimp & haddock. We had no room for dessert. The staff was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was very clean.
This was my first visit to New Hampshire and The Lobster Boat. I absolutely loved this place! From the decorations to the food and especially our waitress. I highly recommend this place as a must if you're in the area.
We got to the restaurant near closing expecting to get turned away, but we weren't. I thought ok but the waitress is going to be annoyed and rush us; she didn't, the exact opposite. Izzy was so sweet and helpful. Best waitress I've had anywhere! I asked her what she recommended and I got my very first lobster roll. It was delicious! I also ordered the lobster bisque and it was good, but my husband's clam chowder was the best I have ever had! Definitely a must have.....it's like an "O" for your mouth. You won't be disappointed I promise!
**Not wheelchair accessible**
This establishment is not wheelchair accessible so it was a good thing I can walk short distances and waddle in. They also don't have handicapped parking. It wasn't a problem because we got there towards closing, but would be otherwise.
I still recommend coming here if you're wheelchair bound like me, just get the food to go!! 😉
Great lobster roll at Lobster Boat Restaurant. Started with the delicious calamari, the marinara sauce was very nice. The regular lobster roll was anything but regular, the lobster was fresh and delicious, the bun was toasted and buttery which went perfect with the lobster. I substituted the fries for onion rings, make sure you get the onion ring sauce, nice and tangy. Can’t wait to return to Merrimack to try Lobster Boat Restaurant again.

I took blues legend Luther Guitar Junior Johnson out for lobster, and we found this wonderful restaurant. We each had lazy man lobsters with loaded baked potatoes and key lime pie for dessert. The waitress was great, and the food was very, very, good. We definitely would go back !
Small local restaurant that has apparently been a staple in Merrimack for over 35 years. Service was great, baked haddock and corn chowder were very delicious. Old school vibe.
Stopped here after a hike and ordered clam chowder, fried pickles, a jumbo lobster roll and lobster mac 'n' cheese. Mac 'n' cheese could have been cheesier but everything else was on point. The service though was the best! Ellen was quick and accommodating and brought us extra plates for sharing. She was attentive to water refills and so friendly to us. Best service we've had in a long time. Love the new england diner vibe and we'll be back for sure.
Nice environment, very friendly staff and the lobster 🦞 roll amazing, fresh and great test.
Food was fantastic! Service was on point. The only negative is location and parking. I had the small lobster roll and my husband had the NE clam bake. It was a lot of food and hit the spot for us. Highly recommend.
