Review Sheffield's Restaurant - Merrillville

A nice set up with a decent size dining area and also four pool tables (two in back part) to unwind. A good mix of locals with the occasional out of towner. Not a drinker but the appetizer that I ordered seemed pretty reasonably priced.

Not that it's a bad thing, but this is your basic bar. Good bar food. Drinks are cold and reasonably priced. Bartender was friendly and attentive. I will definately be going back to have a few drinks n try some more food.

So I’m going to start by saying, I like a little grit to my bar. This atmosphere is exactly what I look for with the great music, pool tables and hometown feel. As we walked in we noticed there was quite a few people and only one bartender to serve the place. She. Was. Fantastic. I mean unbelievable. Personable, timely and professional. The food.. I pride myself in being a wing connoisseur and I will say the chicken wings were top tier. Large, slightly breaded and a tasteful amount of sauce while piping hot. All said and done it’s a 5/5 for me. Highly recommend.

Customer service was horrible!!! First of all we were patted down by non officers and we were there to eat and not drink. The table was nasty and it took forever for the waitress to come see about us. I asked for extra mayonnaise which was never delivered to my table. To top it all off when we received the bill we were charged for a refill. The waitress never once said there is a charge for the refill. Then said sorry but didn’t offer to readjust the bill. Worst experience ever and never will I go back

Good tavern style eats. Drinks median priced for the times. Favorable staff. Sports like bar environment. Worth going, while after the mall shopping. Or just socializing.

This place is a dive. I was impressed by the amount of breakfast given and how fast it was served but think I would have probably not eaten it had I seen the kitchen 😅 🤔 😜 lbs. Clean up the floor and outside 👍 👌

Pretty good. We ordered take out and the bags came w/o any utensils, napkins, syrup, anything. Just the food. Disappointed in the service so 4 stars
