We ordered: 1. JIANBING (Crepes) with Roasted Five Spice Duck and extra egg 2. Tiger Bites (Taiwanese Gau Bao Bun) with pork belly 3. Matcha tea and jasmine tea 4. The grab and go salads are fresh and plentiful The meat are well-cooked, soft and juicy, much better than other places. These are very authentic street food. The teas are also great. We will definitely come back for more!

The Jianbing with braised beef was fantastic. Having lived in Hong Kong for 2 years and falling in love with the street food there I had to try this place and it did not disappoint. So many flavors to remind me of the street food in Asia! I will definitely be a repeat customer.

After I heard glowing things about Boba & Bites from a friend, I was excited to try the Chinese crepes and bubble tea! My fiancee and I had a feast with tofu and beef crepes, tofu salad, veggie sushi, and bubble tea! The crispy crepes was very filling and remind me of the indian crepe, dosa, but with meat options! It was fun to watch the person making them. I really enjoyed the honey ginger fried tofu, bursting with flavor! My fiancee devoured the steak crepe. My only complaint is that the crepe is quite oily, I think it's from the house sauce. I was quite full after eating half of it and made it to 3/4, and disappointingly couldn't eat the entire crepe. Although it was fun to try (you definitely should!), I probably wouldn't order it next time. I ordered the Chinese sandwich, which ran out, so the owner made me a custom veggie roll. Although I had the roll the next day, it was delicious! My fiancee got sick from the sushi (which is why I had to knock off a star). The sushi wasn't fresh or labeled, but I think it was crabmeat and tuna. The tofu salad was very tasty and healthy. It was pan-seared tofu with mixed greens, kabocha, edamame, cucumber, grape tomatoes, carrots & wasabi miso dressing. The matcha milk tea was heavenly, I savored each sip! I got it lightly sweetened, which was perfect and not too sweet. Out of all the matcha teas I've had, this is one of my favorites and drank the entire large cup (I usually drink just 1/2 a small cup). Totally worth it! The owner is really sweet! She came up to me and offered to make me a custom sushi roll as the Chinese flatbread ran out, which I graciously accepted. She also chatted with us and explained how her Indian husband's cooking influenced the Boba & Bites food menu with dosa like crepes. The restaurant is fairly new as it's only 6 months old and a nice fusion between Chinese, Japanese, and Indian food. Looking forward to my next feast here with Taikayi ice cream (coming soon!), the Chinese sandwich (hope they'll have it next time!), tofu salad, and let's next forget the matcha green tea!

Great food, kinda pricy. Asked for no onion, didn’t happen. Make sure you communicate with both the cashier and the people who cook there to make the order right. For Jian bing, I feel like the sauce is a combination of Lao gan ma and tian mian jiang, correct me if I’m wrong. Overall 4 star

Tried it for the first time and it was really cool. Lots of ways to customize your food and drink means the small menu is actually pretty deep and everything I had came out great. The price was very reasonable too for Merrifield.

Quality of food is awesome , but kinda pricey for what you get. Milk tea is on point. Seems Taiwanese inspired.

Delicious bao buns and boba tea. You can pick up some quick items in their refrigerated section (salads, fruit, sushi, masubi). They also have some Asian snacks (Pocky, sesame crackers, shrimp crackers).

The Red Bean Taiyaki cone was really good, although a bit doughy for me personally. Great spot for a sweet treat or some bubble tea!

This is a place if you want easy parking and pick up some sweet drinks or snacks. At first via car it seems hard to reach however if you just go towards the back and park in the parking garage and then go to second floor then you can park and get to it very closely. I tried most of their bubble tea but my favorite is the milk tea related products. Pancakes and buns are nice too. Double recommend! =)

Been here a couple of times and the food is really tasty. One star off because the young short Asian lady with glasses taking our order was less than pleasant. Her attitude was one of that she was doing you a favor and she had zero smile or friendliness. This has lessened my desire to come here on a more regular basis

Great sandwiches and foods, decent bubble tea, but when we went they didn't have rice and said it would take 50 minutes. Nice little joint too. I would recommend the Rou Jia Mo with either the cumin lamb or the beef brisket. Brought me right back to Beijing street food. Absolutely astounding.

Location isn't very obvious to the masses that frequent the newer areas of Mosaic District, but it's definitely worth seeking out this unique, somewhat hidden food gem. On the one hand, there's the bubble tea… which is something you can now get pretty much anywhere. Yet the boba here is among the best of the ten or so other places we've tried in VA and MD, with many flavors and options to choose from like coffee agar and bursting boba. As good as the tea is, the real star of the show is their Asian street food offerings. The savory crepes and tiger bites (like open meat buns- we like the short rib over the pork belly) taste excellent and are generously portioned. Premade salads and Hawaiian Spam masubi are good, quick to go options. As for service, most of the staff is exceptionally friendly and will come around the counter to give you your food if they aren't too busy with customers in line. HIGHLY recommend this place- the first time we came here we came back three more times that week, to reorder newfound favorites as well as to try brand new things… it's just that good!

Their tea is always tasty, as in you can actually taste the tea rather than just sugar. Their bubbles are chewy and we haven't has a time where the bubbles are soggy. We've also tried their jianbing and they come out piping hot. Get their duck! Will try their ice cream taiyaki soon now that the weather is warmer.
