The spicy Italian Semolina hero... highly recommend if you like a little kick!!! Absolutely delicious!
Visited from Alaska based on high recommendation, and this place does not disappoint. We found a little of everything to buy: heroes, pasta, Italian snacks, deli items, meat from the butcher. Thanks A&S!
Awesome food and service you can't miss! I have already been back here a couple of times this past week and the food is to die for LITERALLY! My favorite is the Peter burgers and the upside-down pizza! Frank and all the other staff have been all very nice and helpful. If you are looking for a place that has reasonable prices and friendly helpful staff with great food this is the place for you!

Stopped in for some steaks and assorted goodies and couldn't be more impressed. It was nice to be greeted with a friendly smile. The place was absolutely spotless clean and all the food looked fresh and delicious..just what I'd expect from A&S. I was even given a complimentary taste of fresh mozzarella...wow! Apparently under new ownership and IT SHOWS! Nice to see a store owner with pride in his business who genuinely cares for his patrons.
We have been ordering lunch from A&S to our office in Wantagh on a weekly basis and it is always excellent. The sandwich bread is fantastic and the prices are on point.
Just visited after reopening and was greeted by Frank the original owner. He was a total gentleman and place looks great. Apparently the previous owner still has the capability to reply to comments on here and has even changed the store hours to incorrect times. Why someone would do this instead of well wishes for the business is beyond me.
A&S reopened recently and my husband and I have been so happy with everything we have bought there from steak to fresh ravioli. The people are so helpful and kind. Great store!

I have had food here a bunch of times and decided to get catering for my daughter's first birthday! Anthony was seriously so helpful especially because I've never ordered catering before. We received so many compliments on the food at the party! It was soo good! Highly recommend!
