My family and I stopped here on the way home from getting a Christmas tree and we're so glad we did. The restaurant is small and cozy and the menu, while probably limited due to covid, was well varied. The portions are generous and the prices are fantastic. My son Talon, the pickiest eater of our 6 kids, declared this to be his favorite restaurant. We plan on coming back here regularly.

well! what a pleasant, home town, home made comfortable easy place! sit by the windows so you can look at the birds and squirls: nature TV. out food was really good. honey dipped chicken, ruben (could have more stuff in it), delicious onion rings, and....corn fritters (with....corn)! the people behind us got cheese cake (yum!).

Always a fun place to stop and grab a bite to eat. Very good down home food and the deserts are exceptional. Plus the people working there are always the best.

Nice family owned restaurant outside downtown Mercersburg. Recommend sitting by window near the bird houses, nice way to enjoy your meal and view of birds. I had the haddock broiled in butter, fish and sides dishes it came with were served hot and filling. My family and I shared a slice of their strawberry cheesecake which was very good too. Price is reasonable for the amount of food you get. I guess Jimmy Carter stopped by at this restaurant during his presidency so this is a historic restaurant as well.

This was my first visit. What a cozy little restaurant! The breakfast was.... well... the bacon cooked to perfection, the once over easy eggs were exactly that, the hash brown shredded potatoes were again lightly browned and delicious. Topped with a muffin with jelly and a glass of OJ... the meal could not have been done any better! Our experienced waitress was kind and attentive and we didn't want for anything on her watch! A great experience and I will definitely return for another meal! Lots of great menu items to expand into! Thank you to the whole FOTM staff! Kudos!
