Review Mama Mia's - Mequon

The one star is only because the server was friendly. Other than that, our visit was very disappointing. Mama Mia's was referred by numerous of my coworkers and my husbands coworkers. We feel like maybe they don't really know what good food is. The garlic bread was not even close to what we were told we could get: no dripping butter, no garlic flavor and it tasted like the grill needed to be cleaned. The pizza was bland, the edges burnt but the crust not crispy enough to eat with our hands but somehow too "tough" to cut with a fork and knife. We were hungry so ate enough to have something in our stomachs before we went grocery shopping. I decided to skip the crust and just try the toppings. I've never had pepperoni that had no flavor...what the?!? We've had better frozen pizza from bars and a heck of a lot cheaper as we paid $23 for the pizza. The server apologized but of course its not his fault. He offered desserts on the house but we declined as we didnt want more disappointment. Wish we had read the reviews before going.

My son loved the pizza so we decided to hit the mequon location! Pretty good service spaghetti and chicken was ok pizza, delicious as always and the chicken tenders were much better prepared this time as opposed to my last mama mias review!

Ordered a pizza and garlic bread for pickup. When I arrived the bartender read off the order and a topping was missing from the pizza. She went into the kitchen and came back out stating that they would be remaking the pizza. After waiting for some time, she reassured me that it wouldn't be too much longer for them to remake my pizza. Just before bringing the pizza out, she told me they were "doctoring" the pizza by adding the missing topping and putting it back into the oven. The pizza was burnt on the edges and the crust was rubbery, not crispy. If I'm told my pizza was being remade, it should be remade from scratch, not "fixed." Have ordered food a few times before from this location with issues - have had to wait over a half hour for my order, food was mediocre; but wanted to give them one more chance. Truly miss the Brookfield location. Their food was always superb. Won't be coming back here to the Germantown location. The one star is the for garlic bread only.

Thank you for keeping these family recipes alive from your first location in Milwaukee since 1954!! We’re so fortunate to have your famous garlic bread, pizza, salad and lasagna right here in our own back yard. Food and service was amazing. And that margarita was beyond. Soooo good!! Cheers to a great place, great people and a great legacy.

Busy night, so service was a little slow, but worth the wait. The lasagna and garlic bread are the best around! No one, I'm my humble opinion, does lasagna and garlic bread better than Mama Mia's.

Garlic Bread resembled a slab of Texas Toast and was too heavy on garlic and butter. Pizza was ok, Monster Sandwich used the same bread as Garlic Bread and was too salty. Beef Lasagna wax ok, Spinach Lasagna lacked visible amounts of spinach. Wine was reasonable and tasty. Server was very attentive and the restaurant was quite busy. We would be willing to try again.

We tip when we pick up the food. They forgot to put dressing for the $12.00 antipasta salad in the order the told us there's nothing they will do for us. The salad isn't anything special without the dressing it's just iceberg lettuce.I'm so mad we tipped them for very poor service. The manager shouldn't be in management. She didn't care at all.

Love Mama Mia's!! The garlic is to die for!! Except my last time here it wasn't drowning in enough butter for my taste haha. Live music by Sandy was going on when I was there. It was relaxing and good good pizza!!
