I usually don't write reviews, but I was so blown away by the Sister's Tea Room that it would feel wrong not to share my experience. First, let me talk about the atmosphere. The location is on Mentor Ave, and it was very easy to find with adequate parking behind the house, as well as street parking within walking distance. When you open the door to the Tea Room, you are greeted by a warm setting of florals and pinks. It reminded me of a doll's house because it is small, but very quaint. It's also very sophisticated, fancy, and inviting. The staff that greets you are equally warm and very welcoming. (I would advise to make a reservation even for a party of 2 because they filled up quite quickly.)

I ordered the Traditional Afternoon Tea. It comes with tea, two scones, a selection of 4 different tea sandwiches and 4 tea fancy desserts. I'm a big fan of Earl Grey tea, so I had that. The sugar cubes that are offered are in shapes of tea cups, tea pots and roses! The scones were Irish Buttermilk with a side of cream and lemon curd. The scones were warm, fresh and lemon curd was tart but not in a way that made it unedible. The tea sandwiches were filling even for their size. The Curried Chicken Salad Croissant was by far my favorite. The idea of curry was a little daunting because I expected it to be spicy and very heavy. I was suprised. It had the curry flavor, but it wasn't overpowering. It was very light, but not short on flavor, and fit in very well with my meal.

The Sister's Tea Room is owned and run by two sisters: Teresa and Julie. They are lovely!! You can really tell that they are passtionate about their business, love what they're doing and enjoy making their customers happy. Everything on the menu is homemade. The menu includes breakfast selections, seasonal items, soups, salads, sandwiches and plenty of desserts. There was nothing left on my plate, and I was impressed with everything. I had a very good experience, and look forward to going back.

The Sister's Tea Room has everything a restaurant should: an inviting atmosphere, warma and friendly staff, and delicious homemade food.
If I had to give a rating, it would be 5 stars!

My husband and I went for high tea. Everything was delicious. Our server Theresa was delightful and made helpful suggestions about what we should order. The building was quaint, although the seating was a little cramped. There was a lot to choose from in the gift shop. I'm glad that we made a reservation since one of the parties that arrived was unable to be seated. The website said to anticipate a two hour visit, and we were there for two hours exactly. Great experience; we will be back!

My sister & I like to visit Sisters Tea Room in Mentor to celebrate major events. Our last visit, being before her departure to Spain in '17. Parking is limited at this location, without street accommodations. Reservations are suggested due to the category & size of venue Sisters Tea Room is classified as. It's an excellent location to celebrate birthdays & major life events with your sisters/mothers/grandmothers. Menu items are old-fashioned with tea sandwiches, french pastries, scones & of course- full tea list available. Prepare yourself for a tearoom delight when visiting Sisters Tea Room in Mentor. My experience far exceeded my expectation.

Love, love, love this place!! Just went here for the first time and couldn't of had a better time! My sister, cousin, and I went here for our monthly outing! We dressed ourselves up and made our way over. The place is decorated so lovely and is so cozy to sit in. They even have a gift shop area and my sister adored it. My cousin and I did the high tea package that came with a scone, small pot of tea of our choosing, salad, soup, 3 tea sandwiches, and 4 tea desserts!! It was about $30 a person but sooo worth it! You can tell everything was home made and it came out one at a time. We had John as our server today and they were absolutely phenomenal!! They were so attentive, friendly, and knew exactly what they were doing! Couldn't of asked for anyone better to take care of us. The owner was such a sweetheart too. They both made the experience so enjoyable!!! Thank you!!

My friend and I had always wanted to go here and finally did. We were kind of confused as to where to enter so went to the front door. From the porch, it went right into one of the dining areas. There's a tiny gift shop where I wish we would have been able to look around, but it seemed we'd be in the way. The atmosphere is lovely. I especially liked the coral color on the wall of the room we were in. We did have another group in there with some noisy children so that was kind of annoying. I got the apricot something tea which was delicious. I don't recall what my friend got. One of the herbal teas. We both chose the afternoon tea which included a small pot of tea, four tea sandwiches, 4 tea fancies and a scone. Everything was very tiny. I enjoyed everything but it was definitely not a meal. The little pot of lemon curd, which I love, was literally a teaspoon, if that. The whole tea was more in line of nibbles with tea versus a meal. Favorites from the sandwiches was the chicken curry and the roast beef. From the tea fancies, I liked the brownie and raspberry bar the most. I love lemon bars, but that one tasted a bit off. It was super tiny so it didn't make a big impact thankfully. Our server was very nice and accommodating. It was a lovely experience but not something I could afford to do very often. My bill came very close to $30 including a 20% tip because you can't stiff the server.

I always enjoy going here. We go for special occasions or a treat. The service is slower, but that's one of the joys of tea rooms/houses. They have an excellent selection of teas, homemade chicken pot pie, and my favorite scones with clotted cream and lemon curd. If you don't like tea, they offer other refreshments. My niece loves the hot cocoa and my friend gets the coffee. I would recommend, but be prepared to spend a bit more for the tea house experience.

I was looking for a restaurant near the Holden Arboretum and stumbled upon Sisters Tea Room. I highly recommend coming here for lunch and especially for high tea. The food was delicious and homemade - we were stuffed by the end of the meal. The staff (especially Marge!) was so kind. We can't wait to come back!

I have had two birthday lunches here in a row, so I am extremely fond of this place!! The staff often recognize me and are very sweet and easy to talk to. It's a very elegant and beautiful place for anyone to enjoy. They have a large tea menu and delicious food. The prices are reasonable too. Service is great and the decor is very pretty. I always take pictures here! Cannot reccomend enough. Maybe not great for little kids. Kind of fancy, but not super fancy. You could dress casually and no one would care much. I reccomend making a reservation to come because they are often booked!
