This place is great. We periodically drive up from Lake county Illinois just to eat here. The Pizza is awesome. We went recently to have family style all you can eat fried cod. My Favorite place to go for a fish fry- I know odd but seriously the best. My late father's favorite pizza spot- we still order it for his birthday every year.

It was my first time here, we orderd a MEAT LOVERS PIZZA it was really good and free refils on soda toped it off. I will rate this place 5 out of 5 stars the waitress was right on top of everything. The dining room was awesome from field stone walls to the open concept ceiling.

I enjoyed this place. The service was superb and there was no wait. Our server was very friendly and upbeat, and the portions were huge. I'm only giving this place 4 stars, because the pizza was too salty. I hope it is not as salty next time.

I don't know if we just had a poor experience because all the reviews seem to be positive, but the pizza was nothing special. I would say its average at best. Not a bad thing, but i wouldn't get it again.

Our family grew up enjoying Pepino's since late 70s! I left the state for 20 years. Now I am back in my hometown area, so thrilled I'm able to enjoy this amazing authentic cuisine again. I prefer pizza and it still is my all time favorite!
