This is a Downtown Gem! If you want a nice breakfast croissant stuffed with ham and cheddar, a bagel, hot tea, or their specialty a piping hot cup of coffee this is the place for you then! Customer service is amazing, and the price is just as amazing! You will not be dissatisfied!
Best Turkish Coffee of all time! Great shop, owner was very gracious explaining the art of making a true Turkish Coffee. He makes it on a hot plate in a bed of sand, the coffee to spice ratio is just right, the result is superb. A must try in Memphis.
What a quaint, neat place. Stopped in here for lunch while downtown at work and had a great experience. The place is nice and clean and the service is fast and friendly. I had a strawberry and banana along with a turkey and cheese panini sandwich. Everything was very tasty and I can’t wait to go ba
I came here a few times for coffee. The service was very polite and accommodating. I was also impressed that they coffee according to the traditional recipes. For instance a latte shouldn't have much milk foam on top and that is exactly what you get here. Big plus!
I stopped by this coffee shop in the downtown Memphis area on Sunday morning. It was a lazy morning, a few People gathered there chatting over the coffee. The coffee shop has a cool vibe, however, not the best one. I ordered a cheesy danish and a cold mocha. The danish was decent, but the coffee was
Was walking by and stopped in to get an Americano. Coffee was smooth and service was friendly. They said the expresso was a blend of beans but it sounded like the drip was single origin. Price was reasonable.
I was passing through Memphis and was hungry for something light. I was ready to be disappointed by some Starbucks but found this place nearby. Walking in, the vibe was relaxed and we were welcomed nicely. I ordered the turkey sausage croissant and a regular, black coffee as well as a bagel for a li
Cute little coffee shop, obviously frequented by regulars as the staff knew everyone (else) by name as they came in... and even to the point of knowing their 'usual'. I got a large cold Memphis Mint and it was a good size, not the all too tiny 'large' served in so many coffee shops. Didn't try any p
Just walked up Main Street from my last disaster attempt at getting a good coffee (see my previous reviews) and found this gem... Qahwa. Finally a great coffee. Definitely give this place a try if you are in the area.
I had an amazing time. I got the Claridge house Latte and the Turkey and cheese croissant. This is small but welcoming coffee bistro with an amazing interior.
very personable and friendly staff with even better drinks!! definitely recommend, they have lots of drink options to chose from, as well as food. i will definitely be back!
UPDATE: Very friendly and nice people. They have since fixed the problem with the packaging of their to-go food. –––––––– OLD: Not a pleasant experience getting breakfast food to go.They used napkins to wrap the sandwich in. It was very difficult to unwrap, as they stuck to the sandwich.
Stopped in this morning for coffees to go, had a sausage/cheese stuffed croissant and I could have eaten 10. So good and the coffee was great, too. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in this place, very kind service.
A local place with a great atmosphere. The coffee is always strong but not over powered and full of sweeteners. The balance of natural sweet flavor from honey and the smooth, bold espresso makes a perfect balance for your morning recharge.
I go to this place several times a week. The coffee is great, and the croissants are the best I´ve had in Memphis. The service is excellent as well. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and the employees are as well! Best place for coffee and a quick breakfast downtown, and they have lots of ches
Great little spot in the heart of downtown Memphis. It’s truly a gem. Main St is beautiful indeed.
Staff was great - very courteous and helpful, breakfast croissant with turkey sausage and cheese was great! I love a good etymology lesson, so bonus point for the name and sign under the register explaining the name! They didn't have a dark roast, but the medium was pretty good!
There’s not a lot of options in downtown Memphis and I was glad to find this place. Good coffee and a breakfast sandwich for around $6 - brilliant value. Definitely worth seeking out.
Great taste!! Best cafe in Memphis down town!!
