Review Mckinleys - Memphis

OMG, sooooo good. I ordered the Salmon pasta, and my Son ordered the 3 peice Catfish and the Southwest Eggrolls. When I tell you those was my ALL TIME FAVORITE. I KID YOU NOT. SOOOO SOOOO GOOOOD . Only thing, we thought that we was eating in only to find out when we arrived, that we had to carry out. Due to them moving to a new location. Excellent customer service as well. Everything was to it's seasoned to perfection.

Omg these are the best lamb chops I have ever tried I purchased a whole rack, side order of some asparagus, and and a salmon sandwich everything was overtly great, fresh and hot 🥰 I can't wait to return I drove over an hour just to try the lamb out and it was so on point juicy flavor and sauce for lamb... Also great customer service and she was very polite didn't wait long either this is a must go to place if you're in Memphis oh and can't forget I also tried the southwest egg roll oh me they were 🔥🔥🔥 and I almost I had the salmon sandwich too 😂 I ate it all going down the interstate 😂 WILL BE RETURNING FOR SURE 🥰

I came to this location on my lunch break. I had never been here before. The menu was easy to order from. I ordered the jerk chicken nachos with doritos, a piece of strawberry crunch cake and water, the customer service wasn't the best, but it wasn't bad. The cake looked good, but was a bit on the dry side.. But, let me tell you, THE JERK CHICKEN NACHOS gave me at least 3 more lives!! They were so GOOD! And that, to me, made up for the bad looking drink machines.... It does have that "neighborhood restaurant" feel to it.

As "date night" as we could be, my guy and I decided on Flava House Restaurant @ 3279 Kirby Parkway (Hickory Hill). We were both surprised that neither of us ever noticed this gem right around the corner. We had hoped to dine in but this location is currently only carryout. There was one person working the front and although visually VERY busy (answering phone, bagging orders and running back and forth to the kitchen area) she was also tending to the line taking orders. There was no attitude or even any heir of frustration. Once we made it to the counter she acknowledged us and let us know she would be right with us. Once she took our order she was pleasant and let us know it would be 30-45 minutes. Fast forward, right at about 30 minutes she was bagging our order. We asked for condiments and she willingly obliged. He got the jerk chicken pasta and I got the fh burger combo. He greatly enjoyed his staying the pasta didn't have too much or too little sauce and you could taste the "jerk" in that chicken. He also stated the brocolli was not too crunchy or to soft and his garlic bread was just right (garlic and butter wise). Of course 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. My burger was good. On a brioche bun and fully dressed. It was well flavored and my fries were just right and seasoned well also. The THICK piece of cheese was very impressive. No thin kraft single here. The burger was a burger patty so that wasn't the greatest for me so my experience 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I still would try it again though. Overall, we will be back 🤤🤤🤤

The food at Flava House is extremely my family and I visit them every other Friday. We always order the full rack lamb, jerk tacos, and the salad. It's a 20min wait but it's well worth the wait. The food at flava house is flavorful I haven't tasted anything this flava house anywhere else in memphis. I definitely understand why it's called flava house

The food was good. Both staff members we encountered was friendly. It was a bit of a wait but the cashier was very friendly and apologized for our wait before being able to order. I appreciated the fact the cooking team wore gloves!!!!! They show you your food prior to you taking it, which i think is a wonderful idea. The only thing i was not happy with was how many fries they gave me..lol. I am a fry lover so it was not very many fries in the container. But overall the food and service was good.

I’ve ordered more than once from here & The Baja Southwestern Egg Rolls are REALLY good & actually one of my favorite menu items to order from here! The shrimp pasta could use more flavor in my personal opinion but I would DEFINITELY order from here again!

I ordered 2 Philly Cheese Steak combos the food was good I will be back

Not your typical sit down restaurant or fast food chain! Their lamb rack is definitely something you've gotta try! Very mouthwatering and seasoned well! If you haven't tried it already, you should!

The food is always hot and fresh! And delicious. Tanya is a delight to see when I go in. She always makes sure my order is correct and ready. Thank you for your service! I will miss this place when I move back to Denver in 2 weeks.

Family owned and operated, that is a must for me, I'm not one for the chain restaurants while traveling! The service is excellent with friendly smiles, and the food is delicious! I'm from St. Louis and when I come to Memphis, once or twice a year, this is the the first place I stop at to get real southern comfort food! Makes my mouth water thinking about it! Go and getcha' some!

This is a great place to patronize. The service is off the chain. The food is worth the drive across the city. I will definitely pay visit again very soon.

They are great I love their catfish it's real catfish and since I been in memphis I have a few places that serve real catfish and the fried green tomatoes will make you slap yo momma lol

I love this restaurants!! I took my family today 20 plus of us and they all enjoyed!! My grandmom who birthday we celebrated was like "Im coming back".

McKinleys always show our Fanclub so much love. I love going there on Sundays. Food is good also!
