We ate here for the first time last night and it was so delicious we had to return again tonight!! The muffuletta we had last night was the best we had ever had. We split a whole one and had 1/4 to take home. It was huge with meat, cheese and flavor!! The bread was fresh and delicious. We ate it before we could get a picture of it.Our return meals were very delicious as well. Large portions with lots of flavor. We will be back for sure!
It’s so hard to decide what to eat here. Everything is amazing. Whether you need to eat for a week on the muffuletta, or need a clean and healthy bibimbop. You can’t go wrong. They care so much about their food and it shows. Don’t leave without grabbing something from the bakery. This is a great hidden gem in Memphis.
Excellent food for the price especially. It's a family business so quick in-and-out on a busy day shouldn't be expected, but the food is always run out to tables in a good time even during peak hours. Friday and Saturday specials are always to be chosen if possible.
Wonderful food and service! Food portions are generous and you cannot go wrong with anything they serve. Every Friday, they have an Indian Special you can try. I recommend this place to everyone!
I have been eating at Sam's Deli for a few years now & I HIGHLY recommend the Cubana sandwic . We order it spicy to give it a little bite. In my opinion, it's the best sandwich in Memphis. There are so many great choices of food on the menu. Service is always great and my orders have always been perfect. I recommend supporting this local small business & you will not regret it !
Incredibly refreshing food: spices and flavors matched and complimented in a way hitherto experienced. I ordered the mango habanero wings, and i was pleasantly surprised by the size and flavors of the wings. On top of that, it was an assortment of wings and thighs. Love when that happens. Prices are so affordable and staff is so loving. 9/10; would recommend.
This place is excellent! Tried it the first time today and it was so good. I love the fusion of American deli and Indian and Korean foods along with a bit of a Mexican twist with the burritos. I had the Sub 65 and it was amazing! Good spicy heat. It’s also really filling. The samosas are good too. Will definitely be going back to this place.
Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Always incredible flavors and quick service, love the weekly specials too. Best in town!
My favorite deli in the area. Casual, seat yourself place with table service and super friendly employees. Recommend la cubana, muffuletta, sub 65, mango bonfire subs. Also excellent samosas, bibimbap bowls, and baked goods. Be sure to check the weekly Indian specials.
One of the hidden gems of Memphis! An amazing fusion of indian, Korean, Greek and American. The menu can be intimidating only because of your indecisiveness to select a kind of cuisine but no choice is wrong here!! We got the gyro bibimbap, chicken 65 bibimbap and seasoned fries. We had no idea what we had got ourselves into, but so glad we discovered this place!
Great place. Very cool staff and very accommodating with special orders. I’m glad we came here over any other local deli.
I don't know why I've never heard about this little family-run gem before, because it is EXCELLENT. Quick, friendly service, great variety of offerings, and fresh, quality ingredients. The sandwiches are huge too: you definitely get your money's worth. We tried the veggie bibimbap wrap and the meathead hoagie. While I loved my wrap (so flavorful, spicy and satisfying), I'm definitely going to go for a hoagie next time, because that bread is out of this world!! We will be back soon: I think I've found my new Sunday lunch spot.
Really unique menu, affordable and great service. The hoagies come on a roll that is mind blowing. It’s got the soft and light interior of a traditional sub, but the exterior is super crisp, almost like it’s wrapped in a papadum.
Great little place named after the owner's dog Sam, Had a quarter of a muffluleta and that was enough and very good. Highly recommend Sam's Deli. Back to eat April 20,2022 and just as good. Muffuleta and side of fries.

Love to try other things but we stuck with the bibimbop bowls and they are great portion and really tasty. Always enjoy supporting local family business. Great service too!
As the name implies this place is very stong on the sandwiches and deli items. They are delicious. The other supporting meal items(pic) are decent, but not great. This is a real chill spot that is out of the way, and has very good customer service. The people working here went above and beyond to give good service. All in all I give it a strong 4/5.
Everything they say about this place is true. Hubs got the mufletta. It was huge. He said it was fabulous. I ate the Pav Bhaji. Their Indian food is so good. The Gulab Jamun was the best I ever had.
Reasonable price, ample parking available. The service was also good and food was served in a short time. They have Indian specials every Friday.
Love this place, they muffalettas are off the chain when I say good they're great.. Love it and what a great new location. Highly recommend you try it. You will not be disappointed..
