Superior Bar Of Memphis - Memphis - Photo album

Visited from NC to celebrate a birthday. I was blown away by the ambiance, as I am a huge wwe fan. Lots of history and artifacts to look at. The food was very good, but not spectacular. We had some problems with the server asking to read out card numbers at checkout which made some of my party membe
The music (live blues band) and atmosphere here was great! The 1 waitress was working really hard to serve our table of 8 and everyone else and had a great personality! The food on the other hand was not good. I ate the ribs because I was starving and that's part of why we came to Memphis and Beale
Food was very reasonably priced, and given the reasonable price was quite surprised by the taste. The wife got pulled pork, which was very tender, well seasoned, and not at all dry. I got a sausage and found it very moist and with good flavor.
Very impressed! The food very good and the band that played was incredible! So many cool things on the wall, especially for wrestling fans past and present. Worth checking out for many reasons if in the area! Only thing that could've made it better was if The King had been there!
Fun live music two nights in a row! Amazing musicians! Excellent service from the wait staff. The wrestling memorabilia is just a bonus 💙 Great experience. Would definitely come back.
There was no cover charge and the band was great. The floor guy got us right in. The poor server was nice, but she needed help. Just like every club and restaurant in America right now. Come on people, get back to WORK!
My dad brought me and my family to this restaurant because he is a huge wrestling fan, and it was great! Their catfish sandwich nearly brought me to tears, and the service was very kind. They had amazing live music and a great atmosphere, 10/10 (if you go you NEED to order the catfish sandwich)
3 piece band (2 guitars and drummer) playing and no one was in the club. Took a chance and we lucked out!! A singer joined the combo and for us it was lights out!! Solid musicians and good entertainers. Thoroughly enjoyed the wings. More and more people came in and we all had a great time on Beale S
Loved this place. Tons of memorabilia including belts and crowns. Band I saw was top notch. Drinks were priced right. No cover. Respected social distancing. Place could use an update but that’s okay. Just wish the king himself would have came in.
A great bar restaurant on Beale Street. Good live blues music, with no cover charge. Great food and service, and some nice wrestling memorabilia worth stopping in, even if you are not a fan.
What a fun spot. Their cocktail menu is good, and the food we got was great. Had a burger that was sooooo tasty. I had no idea their burgers were that good. Went back later that night and caught a good band. And to top it off, the king himself came in.
Loved the wrestling theme of this bar and the drinks we had were nice, the bands were good but we found the Service to not be as good here, prices were the same as rest of the street and the band we saw there were good
It's the King's place. By definition, the King Rules. Not spectacular, but it's The King's place. We LOVE the King. Go, just to say you've been there.
This place is a must for any wrestling fan and fans of good live music, I had the bbq pork sandwich and the fries were amazing as well as the rest of the meal, friendly staff and really cool pieces of wrestling history. I have been to this place twice and Have enjoyed it both times.
