P & H Cafe - Memphis - Photo album

I’ve been coming here for many years now, and I keep coming back because the people, crew and patrons, are family. They only serve beer, so if you want liquor, bring it with you! But definitely give them a chance if you haven’t ever been in!!
We had a great night seeing live music. The punk rock show here was very cool and the scene was very inclusive and supportive and the drinks were fairly priced. We got to see about 5 bands for the cheap cover price of $5. Pool tables in the back.
Visited for the first time for my bday karaoke. Place is good for karaoke but really smoky. If that doesn't bother you, its a good place to hang out with friends. They only have beer for alcohol. BYOB.
Best bar in Memphis. Hands down. Owners/Bartenders and other staff are all fantastic people to know. Beer only, but you can bring it your own liquor with no bottle every day but Thursday ($5 on Thursdays due to Comedy Night). They host an assortment of shows, games, movie nights, etc. every week. Al
Best dive bar in Memphis, hands down. Awesome burger, try the one stuffed with Jalapenos and Cheddar. Great cheap food and beer, you won't break the bank here. It is byob with a small corkage fee. Way less than buying drink for drink somewhere. Some really good entertainment many nights with no
P & H Café was GREAT. Went there last night. On Thursday's they have a comedy night for local comedians to some and do stand up. The vibes were great, people are funny. Great place to come and socializes with like minded individuals. The scene was young indie kids. Hippie atmosphere. Definitely will
One of the best kept secrets in Memphis. If you want the soul and spirit of this city, avoid Beale and head straight to the Poor & Hungry. Their burgers are beast, the beer is cheap, the servers are interesting and varied, and the decor is the best that any dive bar could hope for.
Was recommended this place by my sister in law because we wanted to take an out of state friend for karoke. We had a blast! The people who got up and sang were awesome and had such a great energy! Woooo Party Pat!!! Everyone in the place seemed to know everyone so I would definitely recommend not g
Always lots of cool, interesting people on the back door hangout. There is also usually quite a bit of eye candy in the form of sexy Midtown girls with their friendly, inviting and confident, but far from stuck up attitudes and demeanor, along with the unique blend of intelligence, street smarts, aw
If you live in the Memphis area and have never been here, you have no clue what you are missing. Good beers at a great price. Delicious food at a good price. A regular watering hole for me, for sure!!
Great unique drinks and laid back atmosphere. Music always starts late but that's cool when the bands are so good. :) Had a great time.
This is a smoking bar. I went to a comedy show here and had a good time. Not sure what it's like on a normal night, but there was an $8 cover charge for the show. Was definitely worth it though
It's a dive bar, it gets a 5 star dive bar rating.
Best dive in Memphis. Small but solid beers on tap, the food is great comfort food, and the atmosphere is unique. Love the staff.
Best burger in Memphis! Cold brews, bartenders are attentive, stand up comedy on Thursday nights, pool, open late, basically it's the best burger and a brew spot in Memphis.
As far as dive bars go this one's my fave. But don't go for a Budweiser they don't have them. But they do have Coors banquets!
One of THE all-time greatest Memphis dive bars. A rich history that goes waaay back across multiple locations. You know it when you walk in. This is Memphis.
Pretty nice place to hang out. A lot of cigarette smoke and a manageable amount of drunk people. Karaoke nights are pretty good.
