The tacos were absolutely amazing. This has become our new favorite place to get take out! No margaritas but that’s okay!

I have frequented this Summer Avenue location many times over the past two decades, and it is easily one of the most consistent, authentic and affordable restaurants in the city. The photos I've included feature the Burrito lunch special. Along with being filling and delicious, the entire experience was under $15, even with a 50% tip. It would be hard to top this quality, quantity and price point in a full-service restaurant. Highly recommended.

I’ve been eating at this restaurant for the last 12 years and it never disappointed, the food is delicious and my favorites are the chimichangas, tacos, shrimp quesadillas, lengua (caw’s tongue) en salsa verde, garlic shrimp and green enchiladas. Always delicious 😋

Have always loved coming to eat here! Moved into a new area of town and haven't been able to come back for a few months but everything is delicious as always. Pictured here are the chicken super nachos, a goat taco, tongue taco, and fish taco. Corn tortillas are made fresh in the restaurant!

Small business. This soup was really good! Not what I expected for a seafood soup, because it had cabbage but it was good. Speedy service and at a great price

Authentic Mexican food. The menu makes you want to come back and try everything, but the lunch menu items are quite good. I want to get back when they are serving goat. Service is quick and attentive.

One of the best places to get sope. If you haven't had one, go there to give it a try. The service was great and food came out quickly and hot.

My wife always gets the torta cubane. It is enough for two people but I always get something else and we take the leftovers home. The torta is really good and is slightly different than a traditional Cuban sandwich. For my most recent visit I got nackos. They were really good as well. In fact, I've never had food there that I didn't like.

1st time dining here.the food is DELICIOUS. The waitress is attentive, and the prices didn't break my budget. I will return, MOST DEFINITELY. 🤩🤜🤛💯

I have been to mini mini mexican restaurants in my sixty years of life. I would say that ninety plus percent of then all have the same menu. They probably have the same supplier. And, of course, they all taste alike. The only difference being how much water they add to their cheese dip. Which of course I frown on quite enthusiastically. Our son lives not far from this restaurant. He told us we needed to go eat there and so course we made a date with him to just that very restaurant. You see, they have food trucks that they park around different areas around and outside of Memphis. My son has been a big supporter of these trucks. Anyway, he said, "mom, their food is the best I have ever had." I dearly enjoy mexican food and can eat it daily without any problem. I have been to only one authentic mexican restaurant. That was many years ago in houston texas. I found out that this restaurant is absolutely authentic mexican food. Their beef is incredibly flavourful. Every item on the menu is worth its weight in gold.... it is so mouth wateringly good. Unfortunately, this restaurant is almost two hours from where I live. I have already eaten there twice and the second time was just as wonderful as the first. Compared to the other mexican restaurants in Memphis this one is a hidden gem. It is so good that I cannot even go to taco bell anymore. And I quite enjoyed taco bell for forty years. So if you are if you ever find yourself in the memphis area please do yourself a favor and visit this wonderful mexican restaurant. You will be rewarded in a way you've never tasted before.

Years ago this was my favorite Restaurant, I hadn't been in years and I went today. The food is still awesome and the dining area is very clean. I ordered the chimichanga lunch special with rice only and it was out in five minutes piping hot!!!!

I wish I can give them less then 1 star. The food was nasty!!!!! Will never go back. The fajitas were bland and all fat. It even looked nasty. Everyone who gave them 5 stars must of never ate anything good. The menu said "real Mexican food" haha if their grandmother's tasted it They would roll over in their grave. Their food is a disrespect to all Mexican food. They need to 86 the whole menu and learn how to cook.

The food is excellent. Not your average Americanized plates. The place is clean with a friendly staff. We gladly make the drive for the fantastic food.

I'm from Little Rock, Arkansas I was passing by and decided to check a local Mexican restaurant They serve some pretty good Shrimp Cocktail � And the waiter was nice Highly recommend it

I think they got a little pricey but damn they got the best burritos.....

Never miss a chance to stop in and get some of the best tacos in Memphis. Always fresh made no matter what time of day and service is always great
