Review Tin Roof - Memphis

v Most of the people we saw working there looked as though they could care less and acted the same way. They did not have any servers so the person running the bar was attempting to do both jobs. The musician they had in there was good and enjoyable. My drink was good but, my wife's margarita was not at all. The food we had there was only fair.

Was tryin to find the perfect place to land for the night after walkin Beale street. Ended up here and I’m so glad because of the music. They had a country/rock band up front that was good and in the back rap. People were dancin in the front to the country and in the back it was lit dancin to the rap. If one had a song goin I didn’t like I’d flop to the other side lol I couldn’t choose where I was havin the most fun!😂 If you have that kind of personality like I do (multiple) you’ll appreciate this place lol drinks are expensive. But that is everywhere. I was meetin people from all over the globe. It was neat.

Great spot, great band! Bathrooms were relatively decent. It was a hard place to get a drink.

Great venue with fantastic live music every night. The staff were friendly and the beer wasn't expensive. There was also no cover charge. I love it and can't wait for my next visit from South Africa. 👍

First time in Memphis was walking on Beale St…heard some good music and went in…Had a good time best live band I’ve seen… great drinks hands up to bartender… the food looked great was going to order but kitchen close at 11 😭😂 so I just drank the drink and dance to the good music

Great venue! Two rooms, live music in one, r&b/hip-hop in the other. Loved it.

Fun place. Chill early on, then gets rowdy later at night. Crowd was a lot younger. Mixers served in 8oz. cups with ice, which seems to be the norm. 32oz. beers available.

Had a work event here - they could not have been more accommodating to our needs. A/V options were a bit limited, but otherwise a wonderful experience! Great stage, ambience, seating & dining options, and full-service bar!

They had live music and the band was great! The service was on point with a great atmosphere.

This is your country music alternative on Beale Street. It is a cool place with a good setup for the bands. Maybe just timing but it was hard to get bartenders attention since they were focused on their friends at the bar.

Came in during Music festival Saturday, fun place, it was pretty busy and wait staff was definitely busy, there was a fantastic kid singing (Hunter flannigan ? ) on stage, came in for quick drinks we stayed for 2 hours!

Live music. Good food. Great drinks. Yes. Thank you for one last night in the great state of Tennessee.

Stopped in for apps and some brew and to rest a bit from walking. Was told to just sit anywhere. After 15 mins, we had not been approached. Keep in mind there were not many in there as it was mid -day. I noticed one of the workers ask another if we had been helped, the other worker said no. And so we waited still. We should have just left, but no we waited a bit longer. Finally, a female server came "bouncing" over and asked what we wanted to drink. I asked to see menus. (We still had not seen a?nenu!) She had a look like we had asked for something outrageous) she goes and fetches them and comes back. We quickly look over in fear that if we don't order now we may never get to. So she brings the drinks and I ordered chicken tenders. Keep in mind other tables were being waited on as they should be with no issue. 15 mins pass and still no food, no one stops to check on us nothing! The lady server who was supposed to be our server n was joking and having a ball with the guys at the bar. I was done... I had a few bucks in my pocket, we walked out and I put the money on the counter and looked at her and told her to cancel the order. I refuse to be treated like I don't exist in any establishment. That has to have been the worst service and experience I have ever had! Never again will I go to this place!

This is my favorite hangout! Music always on point, drinks always on point! Best security! Always feel safe there. Seriously try this place if you havent. I don’t want to go anywhere else on Beale!

This place sucks balls! Their food is mediocre and the service is pathetic. It's not really the bartenders or security's fault but, whom ever owns it wants to make as much money as possible. They opened all the garage doors so they can fit in more people even though it was the middle of winter and we froze our butts off. Then they proceeded to take everyone's chairs away so they can fit even more people. The security literally pulled chairs right from under people. This place will never have my business again and I wouldn't recommend unless you want to be disappointed.

How are you not prepared for the crowds during a College Football Bowl Weekend? I went in there after the Iowa State Pep Rally and Cyclone Nation had taken over the place (pretty much like all of Memphis). The bar staff was short handed and they ran out of several beers on tap. (there was a gentleman in a Steelers hat and a couple girls that were working their butts off but there was just no way for three people to keep up with the crowds). Drink times were over 30 minutes and food was well over an hour. Complete fail on the owners. Next time be prepared!

We were there on St. Patty’s Day! We had so much fun! Tyler was our waiter & he was awesome! They were so busy, as you can imagine! Great music, food & green beer! Thank you Tyler, so much fun!

Our server was Jessie and she was phenomenal, as was the food. She was friendly, and very patient with us. The dry rub wings and ribs were extra yummy. There were two people singing and playing guitar and they sounded great. We can't wait to go back.

We had a great time Saturday night ! The place was packed , the staff was friendly,the food was really good and the band rocked !

I will never give this bar my business again. I have never been so disrespected in my life. We were disrespected by multiple employees. They called us names, placed hands on us, and said things to us that should never be said. I will never give this establishment a dime again.

Love the atmosphere! One of the few places that have awesome A/C. Bartender that usually wears a hat is awesome (never caught his name)! The wings were so yummy- best buffalo sauce and the loaded tots are to die for !!!

Sydney was hands down the best bartender in the area and we were delighted to find out they had one of the best happy hours around with 32oz Draft for$6! We can't wait to get back to Beale St just for this gem! Thanks for making our trip that much more Rock N Roll!

Love the service and the wings. Atmosphere is great! Trevor Prigg is best server ever and most awesome DJ!! The Green Room has plenty of activities for kids.

First time and LAST time I will ever go there. Came in and the service was SO SSSLLOOWWW that is when the waitress remembered to actually put in the orders. Burger came out with half a bun, then she came back seriously 25 minutes later with 2 bun tops...where did the bottoms go lol HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service, it's a shame because this place came recommended and we came with other people who by the way, won't be back either AND we are locals in case that matters at all. Hire better staff or figure something out....Beale Street has way too many other options for people to choose from and y'all are NOT even in the running at this point!!

This bar is really fun but sometimes I feel like I'm too old to be there. When my friends visited they loved it. Kind of a college bar but I'd recommend it if you're into that.

Really Fun Atmosphere. Consistently has good bar service, good music, and a Fun, Well-Dressed Crowd. The New Green Room Club-Side Addition with the big outside patio is perfect.

Staff was horrible to us. I went bar hopping for my graduation from university of memphis, and the staff actively treated me and my whole group like shit. We were not doing anything wrong. It felt like the staff didn't want to be there. I will NEVER go to this establishment again.

Long Island was made from a mix and tasted like cleaning solution and the brisket tasted like skyline chili which was a horrible suprise. Music was good

Nice place, clean, good band, good drinks. The reason a gave it a 4 is because my nachos were cold and chewy so I wouldn't recommend ordering that, but my husband's burger and fries were very good so we just shared. Waiter was nice and food came out pretty quickly.

Sydney is the best bartender there! Great place to day drink and enjoy the nightlife.

Love the bartenders and servers! Amazing drinks! Great time dancing! The security here needs to be trained a little better to handle this type of atmosphere, watched a few girls try and pay there tab at the end of the night when the entrance bar was closed off and they were physically pushed back and touched inappropriately and one of them was grabbed and thrown out and split up from her friends, which at 3am can be scary for s chick alone intoxicated in any city. At any bar I’ve been at they have more safety security measures taken to take care of there paying customers.

Great life music and now that they have the new Green Room opened you get a live DJ too. So you get two clubs for one cover (if they are charging at all). Get bartenders, drinks and the food is real good too.

Chill place to be, a lot of fun, good atmosphere, great staff, already feels like a second home.

How do you mess up a barbecue sandwich in Memphis? my husband and I were very disappointed by the food. The Service was great!!! But I didn't see anything good about the famous queso , The food wasn't good at all !!!!

Had a great time, beer was cold, drinks where awesome and waitress was very friendly! Loved the band!

I’d like to say I like Tin Roof bc I love the atmosphere but the service is awful. The last 5 times I have gone, we would sit at a table for 20 minutes with no one acknowledging us while all the other tables are being waited on. I always have to go find an employee and ask how I can get some service. I’ll ask to speak to a manager and my answer is always “we don’t have a manger here right now.” Get it together, Tin Roof.

The food was amazing and well worth it... I will b visiting again soon...
