Review Another Broken Egg Cafe - Memphis

Good, not fantastic. Pancakes we’re really good. Coffee was also better than expected. Our server was really nice but had the unfortunate timing to interrupt conversation every time she came around. Not necessarily her fault but it was distracting.

If you go ask for Tirrany. She takes care of her guest and we appreciate it very much. Thank you so much. Food was great, grits was the only thing we didn’t like and she hooked us up with fresh fruit to replace it. We’ll be back!

Our waitress Jocelyn was excellent. The best service we’ve ever experienced this restaurant

I recently discovered that I have Celiac disease, which made me worried about the foods I would have to give up, like pancakes. But then, I found out that Another Broken Egg Cafe offers gluten-free pancakes on its menu, along with a variety of other gluten-friendly options. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the pancakes, and since they are prepared to order, I could customize them to my liking. Moreover, our server, Chris, provided excellent service that exceeded our expectations. I'm looking forward to returning!

The food was average, but the details weren't followed by the chef, so I deducted a star. Sometimes omelettes can be overcooked in which it was fried brown 🙄 and my eggs were dry. Then my grits were watery and food was warm on a hot plate, guess it sat there fo a while. It'll be a while before my next visit.

Coffee was fresh which is a must have for me! My mom and I went to eat omelettes and were very impressed by the lobster and Brie omelettes! Big portions sizes and our waiter was very nice and kept refilling our coffee without us having to ask!

Lakeisha + Samiya were amazing. Well trained, polite, cheerful... everything customers want when visiting a restaurant. The team works well together. The food was OMG awesome. Had bourbon st pancakes, chix sausage, grits, and eggs. This restaurant is VERY clean, tables well spaced, has outdoor seating.

It was the Saturday morning when we went for brunch. It was packed, although we got the table right away. The server was nice. I ordered Mardi Gras omelette with a side of breakfast potato. The humongous omelette filled with crawfish, shrimp, and sausage was simply terrific. I was served with a English muffin. The breakfast potato was stellar. Fried potato has always been my favorite, and this one being well seasoned, and crispy stole the thunder. My friend indulged herself in some southwest scrambled eggs, and she liked that too. Another piece of attraction was the bourbon street pancake, which we both shared. The pancakes were large and fluffy. It was topped with some banana, walnut, and a flavorful caramel. Although it was too sweet, but very tasty. Overall the meal was huge, filling, and very tasty. I will go back soon.

Service and food was fantastic. The omelet was stuffed with cream cheese and had real crabmeat on top...first class

Going here for Sunday brunch was a great experience for me and my family. The food was excellent (seasoned well but temperature could have been a bit warmer), customer service was amazing (from the greeters at the front door to our waiter) and everything was clean. I appreciated the experience and would definitely recommend and I will absolutely dine here again.

Food was the same as you would cook in your kitchen. I would pair it with a cocktail but they do have signature dishes. I didn't try them but cost was a little high at 5 dollars for coffee yeah very high.

My waitress was NYA she made the breakfast complete... she was perfect... her morning manners her smile just everything... the greeters at the door were phenomenal esp the one who seated us. (Lil red bow in her hair) she was great. I will be going back to this particular location.

Had a nice Thursday morning breakfast here, it wasn't crowded no wait at all. The host was friendly and the waitress was super attentive and had the perfect personality. Our food came out fast and was delicious. A bonus: the restrooms were clean😊

Decided to try this place after running an errand and I glad that I did. You can tell how clean the place is when you walk in through the door. My friend and I was quickly seated and our waitress Alicia serve us. Alicia was nice and friendly. Alicia got our orders and it was ready in a flash. I had the Cookie Dough Waffle with scramble eggs, bacon, and orange juice. My friend had the regular Belgium waffle with sausage, scramble eggs and sweet tea. I couldn't help to smile when I took a bite out of the Cookie Dough Waffle. I felt like a little boy with sweets in my system. The bacon was crispy enough how I like it, and the eggs was good as well. We also had the biscuits beignets which have a lot of powder and came with a rum sauce; very good as well.

The food was outstanding I highly recommend this restaurant. Best food so far in Memphis. We ate in many restaurants the last couple of days and I feel I wasted lots of money on food that just was not good. This was the best. Thank u Chris 🙂

The best food, wait staff, and breakfast experience by far. Try the Stan’s Madrid Gras omelette and some biscuit beignets.

First time at this joint. Enjoyed good food and attentive wait staff. Manager came to table and introduced himself and we enjoyed sitting outside during our meal. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food entree and drinks. Was not a fan of the biscuit beignets served as I love the ones in NOLA.... 🤣👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Our waiter was amazing and all of us loved our food. I had the crab cake Benedict and the city grits. I dont even typically like grits and I want more of those. The eggs were perfect om the benedict and the crab cake was really tasty.

We had a wonderful brunch of Bananas Foster Pancakes, Eggs Blackstone Benedict & City Grits. Everything was really delicious & large portions. Mark was a great server & we enjoyed getting the history of The Broken Egg from Rick. We will definitively go again.

I love this place. The staff is always friendly and courteous. And of course the food is fantastic!! I usually get the shrimp and grits with Gouda cheese, delish!! This time I had the crab cakes and fried green tomatoes and I was not disappointed!!!

Food was fairly good My frittita was a little underdone and runny. Crowd noise made it hard to have a conversation with normal voice volume. Music way too loud, but the waiter worked to get it turned down. A little in the expensive side for breakfast in Memphis.
Geri Mumm
The service was friendly and prompt, the food was a bit overpriced and the music was loud and obtrusive enough to prohibit conversation.

The wait was long but we were a group of 6. Food was amazing and service was even better. From the hostess to the server, stellar.
