Very nice staff and two areas for live music. Live music is indoors and outdoors with a full restaurant menu. Met the owner and couldn't be any nicer you're highly recommend

Great food- great service and good music!

Great band and musicians. The staff was fast and friendly. We didn’t order any food but it did smell and look delicious. Very casual atmosphere. I had a great time!

Chicken wings and fries are great! Catfish sandwich was good. Service is a bit slow but friendly.

Great food and atmosphere. Karaoke drew us in and once inside, it was very entertaining. Tried the catfish nuggets and pound and a half wings. Nicely seasoned and received a large portion for both dishes. Staff is friendly and mixed drinks are delicious. Will return!

My family and I bypassed this place and decided to go further down on Beale St. We made our way back and so glad that we did the customer service was great. The honey gold wings were so good and crunchy, the fish was good as well . We really enjoyed the live band and the guy on the guitar is hilarious. It's like we got a small comedy show as well. I just hate that we missed out on the lady singing, I think her name is Ms Nikki.

Catfish nuggets are awesome. They also have great long islands. Most places uses a mix but this bartender does not. The music is really good, too. Glad we stopped here..two nights in a row. It seems like the people that work here get along really well. Thanks for a great time!!

I'll admit I didn't try much of their food, just chips and salsa which was great. However, the singer on Friday night was an absolute entertainer and joy to listen to. The most talented of the music I heard on Beale Street on Friday by far. I would come back again simply to listen to them.

Was in Memphis for work and decided to stop in Lew’s for the first time. I loved everything about it. They have a great band and the best tasting wings plus they’re fruit punch got a little kick to it! Our waiter was generous too!

OMG!!! EVERYTHING was delicious. The steak was mouth-watering, well seasoned, and so tender I could cut it with a butter knife. The catfish tasted like it had just been caught and prepared when it was ordered. So light and flaky. The mixed drinks were on point. The band was nice. Let me just say, I haven't stopped thinking about the food since I had it. I will definitely be back!!!

Had the pleasure of finding this spot on Saturday night when looking for a good place to eat on Beale Street sooooo glad we did it was amazing!!! Great vibes from a LIVE band and delicious food! We got the 1.5lb wings meal and the Double cheeseburger meal so hot and fresh upon arrival and drinks were good too!! We will definitely be back next time we're in Memphis!!

Gave 4 stars bc I Love the atmosphere and the music is always great. But, wine in a cup violates wine drinking etiquette, just can't do it. Plastic wine glass will work. 6/22/18 visited again and had a great time as always. Fun, friendly, and great staff. Food is good as well. The band Niki and the 3 cousins turned it up. Love this place.

We had a great time!!! Didn't know they were having an event spotlighting local talent; but I must say it was enjoyable to see talented, well-mannered young people dispelling the stereotype associated with this type of group. Many thanks to Cheryl, our beautiful, professional and talented bartender!

Just made it home (Georgia) my first time in Memphis and I had an amazing trip. Really enjoyed Ms. Nikki and the cousins band, saw them in action Friday 7/5/19 and Saturday 7/6/19. The food and atmosphere was great but the entertainment has me planning another trip soon. Recommend Lew’s as a must drop in to anyone visiting Beale St.👍🏽

Oh, but that cheeseburger, tho... Visited here this past weekend, and don't know which was better- the atmosphere, the food, the band, or the service. Atmosphere- The lounge was just the right size with just enough seating so we didn't have to stand. It also has two bars. Food- We split a double bacon cheeseburger & fries. It was AWESOME! It was, without a doubt, one of the best hamburgers I've ever had. Everyone in our group ordered one, and ALL of us couldn't stop raving about them. Even if you don't like the nightlife, I would highly encourage you to stop in just for the cheeseburger! Band-Ms. Nikki and the band were wonderful. She exudes so much energy when she performs. She did an excellent job of engaging the crowd, and acknowledging birthdays and anniversaries. My husband was celebrating his birthday, and she serenaded him. (He thoroughly enjoyed it!) She even hung out with us after her set was done. Service- Ms. Marilyn was our server. (We later found out she was the owner:-)She treated us like royalty. She was very attentive and accommodating. She got our food and drinks to us very quickly.... and she kept the drinks coming all night. She even brought us water in between rounds (the true mark of someone who knows how to run the bar!) Our party of five was still in there after the place had closed and the staff was cleaning up, but not once did she make us feel rushed or ask us to leave. She just encouraged us to enjoy ourselves. Highly Recommended!!!

Drinks are better than everybody on Beale Street. Get the .5 pound wings and fries so good

My husband and I went to Memphis for a concert during St. Patrick Day weekend, and it was awesome. Thousands of people on Beale St. We decided to stop at this little place. The music was great, the BBQ Ribs were delicious and the people were friendly. We will definitely stop there everytime we make it to Memphis.

GREAT PLACE FOR SIMPLE FOOD, GREAT MUSIC AND A GREAT TIME!! We went the last two days we were in Memphis and we definitely plan on returning on our next trip to Memphis. This is really a hidden gem for people looking for some cheap food and drink and a great time. The place was small and the AC was not up to par, but that didn’t keep our family from having a great time. The pound and a half of wings (we got the hot ones) were EXCELLENT. They were every bit as good as Hooter wings. The R and B band, “Nicky and the three cousins “was craxxy fun and good. Nicky can make anybody have a good time and get up and dance.

This place is the best! The food is incredible, the staff is very nice and the karaoke was a blast. Would definitely recommend it and would love to come back!

Loved the food & entertainment! Must have the 1 1/2lbs of wings, burger or catfish! The catfis was the best for me!! Definitely coming back! The staff was also great! Great speedy service! Oh and don't forget to tip the band!! Lol!

We ended up in Lew's for dinner last night and what a good time! Husband had the catfish plate and I had the Blue Note burger. Great food and excellent service. The DJ was really fun and called us out for our 35th anniversary. Thanks all, we loved the friendliness of the crowd.

Lew’s is awesome. They are not on the “party” end of Beal and I think they don’t get enough credit for who/what they are. Every time we come to Memphis we make a point to go to Lew’s. The servers are alway great, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is laid back.

First Ms Marylyn was a wonderful hostess. Our waiter was prompt our food was delicious. And my drink was the TRUTH! Not watered down. Ms Nikki and 3 Cousins band were great. Ms Nikki worked the crowd like non other. I had a great experience.

Love love love it, came for my birthday weekend and had the best time ever and the best drinks and make you feel like family cant wait to come back i loved it and the music best ever and so so friendly

The food was much better than what I thought it would be and I was expected to be disappointed. Plus I a bit upset because our original plan was to have lunch at The Lookout At The Pyramid. I was lead there by my sister who repeatedly promised that the food was really good as she had been there a few times. After our party of eight (including adults, a young adult, a teen and couple children) who all ordered different menu items we were ALL very pleased with the .... taste, portion and price!! I/We highly recommend!

The 2 male waiters were the best and the food and frozen drinks were awesome recommend this restaurant to everyone ❤️❤️❤️💯

Lew's is a very comfortable and welcoming place with a fun music vibe and great food. I particularly liked it because it had a "family business" atmosphere, and had a couple good chats with Lew. The Catfish Sandwich was awesome.

I love everything about this place!!! It's a must...I stop by every time I visit Memphis!! The owner is super nice and his wife makes the absolute best Cole Slaw!!! I'll be back probably next month lol

Visited yesterday for the first time, service was great and their wings were the best we have ever ate! Will be happy to come back every time we visit from now on. Great food and drinks for a reasonable price...

I hate it on Karaoke night. We were there for a 7PM night of Karaoke. At 8:45pm it still had not started but the Karaoke DJ...DJ Swagg sat outside talking. It was 8 customers in waiting on him...2 got tired of waiting and left. We stepped outside and asked him would he start a song.....he came in 30 minutes later after about 8 people walked in that I asked to come in.....He came in and got loud and irate with me telling me that nothing start a on time and that it wasn't enough people in here to start karaoke.....WTH? I am a customer that spends $$$ coins and came for Karaoke!!!! The owner saw him being rude to us and all though I like Mr. Lew he lost my business for not stepping in......I had to leave because of the DJ...DJ Swagg acted like he wanted to hit me. He was slightly Drunk but was about to catch these hands.....So that's yet another black owned business scratched off my list! Just Sad!

The owner needs some customer service etiquette. We sat patiently waiting for food only to learn that they did not have the seasoning for the wings we ordered. Instead of Mr Lou coming to the table to offer an apology after we inquired about the status of our food he came over with excuses. The first statement out of his mouth was we all make mistakes. Secondly, he said he couldn't get out to go get more seasoning because Corvettes had him blocked in. It's not a big deal if you couldn't offer what was on your menu however you should suggest that the customer order something from the menu that you are actually able to prepare. Mr. Lou may I suggest that you lose the attitude and tell the customer before they order and wait 45 minutes that you can't provide the item on your menu. By the way, I was with the Corvette group and there were no Vette's obstructing entrances and exits of business.

Great food, service and live music!!! The pound and a half wings were delicious and enough for 3-4 people. The Cuzzins 3 Band was awesome!!!
