Cafe Keough - Memphis - Photo album

The flat white was so good espresso wasn’t burnt and the ginger latte was spot on. The frittata was fluffy and not dry. The Brie and fig croissant was just the right balance of flavor. Friendly space in an old building. Definitely pass up the chain coffee shop a few doors up and go here!
I felt like I had found a rare gem when I stumbled upon Cafe Keough. I had been in Memphis for a few weeks on business and I had tried several restaurants during my stay but Cafe Keough was the only one that undoubtedly deserved my 5 star review. The atmosphere was calm and quaint. The food was abs
Quaint place. Makes you feel like you’re in Paris or some other place in France. Great location since it is in downtown Memphis and no cars go in front of it, only the trolleys. Offering things like bagels & lox, ham & cheese croissants, salads, sandwiches and pastries, you will find something to yo
Waffles were delightfully light and tasty, served with pineapple and watermelon. Frittata equally as delicious. A commonality that seems to be the norm in the south is to order and sit down which was fine. Lovely old building with huge windows and exquisite ornate details. Lovely place!
Very much a French style ambiance and the service is beautiful! The food was fresh and delicious! The coffees were expertly made and the best I've had in a long time! Definitely will return when we come back to Memphis!
Great place for an off the beaten path lunch. I had the smoked salmon salad this time and it was really good. The service was fast and friendly as well.
Cappuccino was mostly steamed milk. I’m not sure what they pull espresso from but it wasn’t freshly ground beans…some sort of pod or something. Food was good but I’d search for something like law next time.
Stopped by in the morning for coffee and was so impressed, we went back for an early dinner! I had smoked turkey sandwich with cranberry. It was on delicious bread. The side salad was great! Cranberries and candied pecans. Soooo good! The atmosphere and historic building is inviting and comfortable.
When I visit Memphis, I try to find the time to stop by Cafe Keough. Lovely old building and great coffee and food.
Very good coffee. Breakfast was great. I had the panini. The sausage gravy on the side is very rich but excellent. The eclairs are perfect and the croissants were nice and flaky. Coffee service was a little slow but employees were nice and it has a cool atmosphere.
European atmosphere on an American scale. Excellent iced latte. Quiche Lorraine was good. High ceilings and widely-spaced seating areas give an open and airy feeling and unique acoustics. Nice place to spend time in the morning for coffee and breakfast.
Popped in whilst wandering downtown. Lovely interior and decoration. Great atmosphere. Plenty of seating but very spacious. Great menu options but not too vast. Service and food was delightful
The amazing woman taking my order did an awesome job of recommending some new items for lunch. Coffee was very good..on par with many upscale coffee houses in NYC.
This is my FAVORITE place to hang for breakfast (and lunch too) in downtown Memphis. The coffee is amazing, the atmosphere is unique. Not touristy or overcrowded. Highly recommend.
Very nice coffee shop for it's location and open space and European decor. The coffee is good. The viennoiseries not that great but ok. Free WiFi and calm atmosphere so it is cool to go for hanging out and do some work.
