Rum Boogie Cafe - Memphis - Photo album

We visited on a Sunday night. There was no wait. We caught the tail end of a solo musician and the first couple of songs from a band. Both were great. The catfish was fabulous with bold seasoning and a crispy crust. The ribs were exceptionally seasoned but a little tough for our taste.
The RIBS and DRINKS are phenomenal! The bartender was slammed but she handled everything well! Live music, seats, and good food. We loved it and had a blast. They have two sides as well! The fried pickles weren’t all that though.
Food is good. It’s bar food with some bbq items too. Prices are high but on par with area. Stage, live music, and some outdoor seating. Worth a visit especially if you want food. The French fries and corn bread are really good.
So fun! Went around noon on a Sunday so it was pretty dead. Had a guy on stage singing. He was okish. Bartender was so sweet and bubbly. Beers were cold and delicious but very overpriced. Loved the atmosphere though!
Visited during the week before peak dinner hours. Our server was awesome. The food was amazing fresh and hot. Definitely recommend stopping by here if you're in Beale st.
Wish the music wasn't so loud, it makes it hard to really appreciate it. But we really enjoyed our visit. Worth a stop, we'd go again.
This place has been my favorite for years. I've long moved away but whenever I come home I always try to drop in. Great food, amazing live bands, drinks are great, service is great. You can't lose here and it's a mature safe adult crowd.
Live music and good food, also the drinks are fantastic. Would definitely recommend it.
Rum Boogie’s gumbo is killer y’all. We went twice while we were in Memphis last week. We tried the gumbo while on a food tour, and then we came back with our family at night to check out some live music. Cool atmosphere, the Isaac Hayes cape on display is amazing!
We saw some very classy bands in there during our stay, the food was good too. They could perhaps do with a few more staff to wait the tables but we were in no hurry so why worry?
We stopped by for drinks on a Saturday night and we had a fabulous time! The live band (Free World) was absolutely amazing and the lead vocalist (I think it's Stephani Doll McCoy) is a true gem. They created a great atmosphere, people were dancing between the tables. We walked around on Beale Stree
This place was awesome the night we were there!!! Got a front row table and was listening to an awesome band! Had many, many, (too many, actually!!!!), drinks!!! Just a fun place to enjoy yourself and listen to some great music! Our server was great, considering the place was packed and she was very
Great music, pleasant staff. Service not fast, but didn't expect it to be.
Service was top notch. Gumbo had the texture of Red beans and rice, think, smooth and flavorful.
Loved the vibe. Loved the bartender Neisha!!! Great music, drinks were good. We didn’t order food, because we chose to eat on Main Street instead of Beale. They did charge a $4 cover but I think that’s worth it for the vibe and the live music.
Walked in off the street, live music was great food was awesome.
Great blues bar, we watched a top class blues singer and chatted to quit a few others at the bar, exactly what you want from a blues bar
Fun place to stop in for some drinks and maybe something to eat. The bar staff is very friendly and quick to get your drinks served. While sitting and relaxing you'll likely find yourself spending some time staring at all the guitars hanging from the ceiling and on the wall. Most of them are autogra
