Review Bryant's Breakfast - Memphis

Scot Simmons
This was an ok breakfast spot. The staff was very friendly and took great care of us. The facility was pretty aged and worn. I was really disappointed with the biscuits they were good but not anything special and I was really hoping for an excellent biscuit. The eggs were cooked to perfection and really good. All the meats we had were also really good. The gravy wasn't as good as I was expecting either. I would eat here again just not with as high expectations as before.

The food was excellent and very tasty. Customer service was great. They were quick to serve and clean up previous customers tables at the same time.

We just beat the crowd for a Saturday morning breakfast. Parking and seating can fill up quickly. Overall atmosphere is very chaotic. Staff was nice enough. Food was great with the exception of the tenderloin. It was just two pieces of tough, tasteless mystery meat? Gravy wasn’t your typical but I respect it. The whole restaurant needs a good scrub. They have a square PoS system now and accept cards.

Great biscuits, historic restaurant with BBQ joint roots. Try the country ham, bacon, or sausage patties. I've seen a Bentley parked out front, and a Maybach, but check your pretense at the door. It's a blue collar joint. If the line wraps outside don't hold the door open.

Mind blowing!! This place is an incredible diamond in the rough. Real homemade breakfast like your grandmother made years ago. Incredible food and amazing people as well. It has a down home feel even though it’s in the middle of the city. I had the cheese omelette with biscuits. Gravy and grits come with every plate which includes biscuits. You will thank me later.

A fantastic place. It's essentially a 50's style diner that focuses on breakfast food. On this visit, I ordered the veggie omelette and the hash brown casserole. The omelette was cooked to perfection and contained american cheese, tomatoes, mushrooms and onions, and came equipped with two fluffy made-to-order biscuits with a side of grits and gravy. The hash brown casserole was a delicious way to consume a spud. I was surprised to find that, even sporting an incredible appetite, it was a complete challenge finishing my meal as the portion sizes were massive. As far as the overall experience? The cooking was fabulous, the service was on point, and the diner itself (while a little cramped due to its older age and design) emits a nostalgic charm. I only deducted one star due to their process of having the customers wait in line to place their order before they get inside and get properly situated. Will definitely return, as the breakfast was amazing, and hopefully will be able to time my arrival at a less popular time in order to avoid the long line. 4/5 stars.

First time visit.. love it.. delicious cinnamon French toast.. I will be back

One of the best breakfast places iv ate. They are always BUSY. But that's because they are beyond amazing. Even though they are busy, everyone is quick and efficient. The wait time is all in all not very long. Great food. Great prices. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

First time here and happy I tried it. I had the country style ham biscuit, side of gravy, hashbrown casserole and sweet tea. Hands down the best biscuits ever and I don't even care for ham but super yummy. Sweet tea was just sweet enough. Can't wait to go back and try more items on menu and all the homemade sweet treats.

Bryant’s Breakfast is the epitome of a southern counter service diner‼️ A no frills establishment with an emphasis on amazing southern breakfast staples. The homemade biscuits and country ham set the standard for deliciousness. As expected, the coffee was better than that found in a chain diner. Once ordered, food was delivered quickly and efficiently by friendly wait staff. We will be back the next time we are in Memphis. And finally; credit cards and Apple Pay are happily accepted😊 as well as cash.

When looking for breakfast my brothers and I ran across this little gem. The line was around the building. I chose the grits bowl and it was great. I finally found an establishment with good grits. The eggs were flavorful and the sausage was very good. The breakfast is great and made to order Theres a reason the line was wrapped around the building. Definitely worth the visit!

If you want a home cooked meal at a trusted location with great prices, then Bryant's Breakfast is your spot! This place is a rare find and worth the visit. Just bring your appetite and a pillow because you're going to need a nap after eating here. The 1 server there is outstanding, and she's going to make sure you're taken care of like you're one of her kids. Speaking of kids, this location is kid friendly.

Bryant's DEFINITELY takes the gold for breakfast! I'm sure glad we finally gave it a shot. We were weary at first, because the line is ALWAYS close to the door - but it didn't take long at All- they've definitely got a great team and process. Their line seems to be constant, even as we sat and ate, it seemed like 2 people got in line every time 1 got served, but no fuss! The food is knock- your socks -off delicious, and they staff is extraordinarily proficient and kind. 2 things to remember 1.)CASH ONLY and 2.) Don't waste your time or theirs - they doi not accept call in orders (they should include that in their phone message, really). Back to the food- WOW! I'VE NEVER SEEN such a perfect omelette, and NEVER tasted a potato cooked so magically as their ☆"potato pattie", which is NOT a Halloween or their hashbrown casserole, both of which are probably great, but their potato pattie is one-of-a-kind DELICIOUS! It has a light, golden- brown " crust", and the flavor is TREMENDOUS! IT'S sort of airy but it's the best flavor you can imagine! Their pancakes are perfect, as is their smoked bacon and country sausage. I had the plain pancakes, and they were simply delicious. Their biscuits melt in your mouth, and the grits are southern perfection. I've also had their pork tenderloin- I don't known what that grill is made of, but truly- it's magic! Definitely take time to visit Bryant's, you'll see that the line is nothing, compared to the sweet folks that are on staff or the awesome food that is UNFORGETTABLY DELICIOUS! IF I could give them SIX STARS, I WOULD!

A coworker of mine when I used to visit Memphis about 8 years ago would always come in with a to go plate of eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits with everything smothered in gravy. I asked around and this place was recommended if I wanted something that described that experience, and it did not disappoint. It needed more gravy, there wasn't enough to cover both biscuits, and the grits were too plain. Maybe the grits thing is my fault, I probably could've picked up some butter/salt/pepper from a station some where but in my rush to get back to Knoxville I just left without thinking about it. I'd go again for sure if I'm ever there.
Tony Myers
Awesome food and you all have that good ole southern hospitality, can't beat it! I suggest opening sooner and with business as good as it is there I would consider buying a much bigger and newer building. Don't forget the "Rich men north of Richmond" just keep getting richer!

I dine here every week. Same as before, the food, service, and experience are great. Do lock your doors because of it being off from Summer, and you can't stop goons from being goblins.. The prices are still the same they didn't drive them up. Or I haven't noticed a change should I say. The omelets are huge, and biscuits and gravy are filling. Seasoned just right. They use the good bacon, so it's always fire. Their Hamburgers are thick, lush, and juicy. I messed up and got a double with a fry. Nuh, uh. It'll make you want a nap afterwards, lol. I ordered to go a lot, and the order is always fresh and right. With everything, no stragglers...I have 0 complaints. Thank you, Bryant's, every week for providing me with breakfast, brunch, or supper ! Happy Holidays to all that reads. Oh and Go. You have to go. it's one of the best breakfast places on this drive. Allot of bang for the buck !!! .. Pic is Philly Omelet has onions and peppers along with steak inside. Biscuits, gravy, and grits. There is plenty of bang for the buck. And a happy tummy

Bryant’s is the best breakfast spot in Memphis, and it is not even really close. Their homemade biscuits are the real deal, best I have ever had. You really cannot go wrong with anything on the menu—their eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes—all are superb. It breakfast is what you want, Bryant’s is where you should procure it. And they take credit card now too. The only thing I don’t like is how they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. I can understand closing one day a week—many restaurants do that. But closing 2 days out of 7 days a week, that seems a bit much IMO. I almost docked a star from my rating for this, but their food is just too good.

Great food. Popular locals place.

Our first time trying out Bryant's this morning and we absolutely loved it! I got the 'everything omelet' that comes with biscuits, grits and gravy. My husband got the Scrambler. I will say the gravy was not very good, it literally tastes like grease. I gave this place 5 stars though bc literally everything else we had was so good! Biscuits are light and fluffy! I also picked up some Peach cobbler - amazing! Service was excellent and the wait wasn't too bad! We will be back!

Bryant’s Breakfast has one of the best breakfast I’ve ever had, when you leave there you are full even if there is s line you still get good service . You get a lot of food for a great price..

This place has the best breakfast in town. I love the breakfast bowls, the omelets, the fresh from scratch biscuits, the homemade white gravy, the chicken fried steak, the coffee, I could go on. I haven’t had anything from here that I didn’t like. I don’t like how small and crowded it is but for food this good I will overlook that. If you’re claustrophobic then order your food to go or sit on the locally made wooden bar outside the restaurant. Also, major props to the servers who navigate the crowd so quickly and always take care of your needs.

I was stopping in from out of town after reading about this place. I needed somewhere to eat early and fuel up before a marathon they were very accommodating and they had the best fluffy pancakes ever it was just what I needed! It's a local hot spot for sure the staff knew customers by name as they came in even their favorite thing to order. I asked if I could get a banana not on the menu and they kindly gave me an extra.

Best country breakfast in Tennessee. Service is amazing and food is just as good. A very cheap restaurant that had food tasting like it came from NYC.

I don't know if it's the best breakfast in Memphis, because I haven't tried them all, but it definitely has to be in the top five. Everything I've had here was above average to fantastic. The portions are big. I eat a lot, but I didn't finish all my breakfast special plate. The employees are friendly. The restaurant is not fancy, but tastefully decorated, and clean and comfortable. It's my favorite breakfast spot in Memphis so far. It's cash only, so don't expect to pay with a credit card.

A bit disappointed on my last visit. I usually enjoy Bryant's for take out but on this visit I went very early on a Sunday morning to avoid the long lines and dined in.I ordered the Breakfast Special with sausage and added one egg. The biscuits, their specialty, were quite dry and the sausage was near burnt. The grits and gravy were very bland. Hashbrowns aren't a very good option here as they use a frozen patty similar to McDonald's.Next time I'll drive a little bit farther down Summer Ave. to the Pancake Shop for a real southern breakfast.

We wanted a local breakfast joint while we were in town and found this place. We got there and the place was packed, including a long winding line inside (this place isn't huge). We were debating whether to wait or not and three firemen coming out told us it was good and that the line moved fast so we decided to try it. We waited in line for less than ten minutes before ordering and finding a seat. I ordered a bologna biscuit and a bacon biscuit with cheese (you can order single biscuits with a variety of toppings) along with hash brown casserole. The biscuits were fantastic- the bacon was crunchy and the Bologna was so good. The casserole was excellent (my husband wished ordered some). My husband had sausage, eggs, grits, and biscuits and really enjoyed everything. Please note- we are from the Midwest and are definitely not grits experts. We left stuffed and very happy we tried this place!

Great breakfast food but the worst burger ever. Hard bun, burned patty.
If you want breakfast, it's great but nothing else.

Posted on May 1, 2015 | Leave a comment Continuing on with a series of posts about my recent weekend trip to Memphis, TN, one of my main desires during my trip was to get together with one of my best friends from my teen years to have breakfast together while I was in town. After doing some research on the best breakfast spots Memphis has to offer, I asked for his opinion on where we should meet up. His response came almost too easily: Bryant’s. Bryant’s Breakfast is a breakfast institution in Memphis, serving their southern-style breakfasts to the masses since 1968. They are known across Memphis as one of the best places in town to get a true, Southern breakfast – and some claim it’s the ONLY place to go when looking for a morning meal here. I was intrigued as I read the reviews from several online sources…report after report giving praise to this neighborhood diner whose main breakfast attractions are simple combinations of basic eggs, meats, grits, and various griddle carbs. But as I read on and on, it became abundantly clear that two main points were emerging as the things that separate Bryant’s from everybody else…what Bryant’s is best known for – their homemade biscuits and the constant line of hungry people that regularly stretches out the door and into the parking lot. I needed to check this place out for myself. Could a basic menu of diner breakfast staples really be so spectacular that people stand in lines wrapped around the building for it? Hot chicken in Columbus I can understand, but biscuits and eggs in Memphis?? We arrived at Bryant’s at around 9:00am on a Saturday morning. Looking back, we probably could have made better choices when it came to scheduling, but I wanted to experience full-fledged Bryant’s-mania running wild (“Whatcha gonna do, brother”….nevermind). As we arrived, I noticed the line ended just inside the front door, and I was temporarily relieved. My friend David and I, along with my family, stepped inside to find that the line of w

Theeeeee BEST. It's crowed and nothing fancy but the food is extra great! The biscuits are the most fluffy. He pancakes are delicous and the eggs aware even better then normal eggs. I don't know how you make eggs taste great but they did. It was so good I had to slow down before I got sick (Ima small eater).

Amazingly INSANE!. So my husband is a breakfast connoisseur and he described the biscuits as AMAZING! They were the best he has ever had he said. And he has had alot of biscuits! I had the Bryants pancake breakfast and I LOVED the pancakes and bacon! 5 stars for sure!
Loc1974
BRYANTS IS AWESOME. I read some of the reviews on here and I go to Bryants almost daily! The food is great! It is a hole in the wall, but well worth the wait in line! The guy behind the counter is very busy trying to take orders, take money, give the order to the ladies cooking AND get it to customer in a timely manner. I assure you he is NOT rude, he is just very matter of fact! BRYANTS is WELL worth the visit!!
Swells.mrp
Manager Rude!!!. I visit frequently, however if you can overlook the attitude of the manager guy towards certain people its fine. You never know who's observing and watching! The food is delicious yet he's best in the back and not taking orders.

Do you enjoy having a stranger's butt touching you for 30 minutes?. Then this is the breakfast spot for you! People with personal boundaries or a tendency toward claustrophobia need not apply. Basically customers are going to be all up in your business in a tiny, cramped space for what feels like your whole life, you order some food, pay with cash (like many places in the amazing time warp that is Summer Avenue), you eat some run of the mill cheap diner breakfast food (except the biscuits, which are the only real reason to put yourself through this experience because they are truly wonderful) and then you'll clamber over some of the poor saps still in line and be on your way. If that sounds like your kind of thing, go for it.
Knowsgoodfood
Always good!. Bacon, egg and cheese biscuit, country ham biscuit, chicken biscuit....always good! I'm sure everything else is just as good, but that's all we've tried, so far. The line does get long, but it's worth the wait and moves pretty quickly. Don't let that stop you! My husband drops me off at the door, so I can get in line, while he parks. That can make a big difference sometimes. Great, friendly service! Remember to take cash. That's all they take.

AWESOME FOOD. Anyone that has anything negative to say about BRYANTS I got one thing to say to you....YOU CANT BE MADE HAPPY!! Bryants is friendly, good value, speedy and down home. One comment made me laugh....said that their food was no better than what they could cook at home......guess what GENIUS? THEY SUCCEEDED!!! that is what they are known for......food like your momma and grandma used to cook.....just goes to show you, you can't please everyone. I have been going there ever since I moved to MEMPHIS (16 years) and it is a "INSTITUTIONAL ICON" GREAT JOB KERRY AND PHIL!!!! don't forget Diane, Novia, Mo and Bertha.....others have dared, none can COMPARE

John McFarland

Want a good Southern Breakfast? This is THE place to go. I've been coming here for years & always order the same thing. I keep threatening to get something different, but I just can't help myself. Breakfast special with bacon & eggs hard scrambled always roll out. One day, just one day, I will force myself to order something different, but in the meantime, you can't go wrong with the breakfast special & the price is great. Such a lovely staff. There might be a long line, but that is pretty much your wait. Once you sit down, your food is brought to you in no time. I can't wait to go back over & over again!

Morning stick to your ribs grub.... First things first.

If you have it in your head that you need a light healthy breakfast this morning .... Bryant's is not for you. Best grab that apple off your counter and call it a day.

Bryant's is a lot of things, but healthy ... it is not.

It is blatantly obvious what you are getting into when you pull up to the glass walled building to begin with. (The sign by the road actually says 'hot biscuits and country ham - come on ... You know that's bad for ya). If you are still in doubt; the smell of strong coffee and fried grease still aren't registering 'FAT Will Robinson ... FAT!' a peek at the huge menu on the back wall (which I'm sure hasn't been updated since ... Well I doubt it's ever been updated ... Ever!) should pretty much spell it out for you. Health fanatics stay away!

So, don't judge Bryant's poorly for being exactly what they said they would be!

You must come with cash in hand. Literally. Bryant's only takes cash.

Do not go on the weekend at any time expecting less than a thirty or forty minute wait (can get a bit lengthier). This applies for all day on Saturday from the moment the doors open till the door closes at about 2:00 pm (Actually i think... Maybe 1:30).

If you're not ok with rubbing shoulders with complete strangers (local and not), being slightly jostled about on occasion while you savor the yumminess of what is a Bryant's Biscuits; all the time crammed at a table that surely belongs to kindergardeners... Bryant's is not for you. Well actually, you could call in a to-go order. You should ... But you would miss out on what I think is the true Bryant's experience.

I think all the loud chatter, cramped space, buzzing laughter, all of it contributes to what makes those biscuits so good ... Of course those biscuits would taste good anywhere.

The grits are wonderfully creamy if a bit bland .... (I ask for fixers to up the flavor). The scrabbled eggs are fluffy and just a tiny but runny every few bites ... Love it. The have hash brown cakes that are yummy and greasy and did I mention super duper yummy?

The gravy looks a bit thick and I know folks who love it and folks who hate it.

The lunches are your country kitchen fare. As a vegetarian I should warn you that their vegetable plate isn't really an only vegetable plate - so be cautious what veggie sides you pick to make up your plate. Learned that quickly enough. Of course I should have known with a breakfast menu that carries about ten different meats - including a tenderloin for goodness sake!

The prices are ridiculously cheap, especially for the amount of food you get. I can split the sampler with an extra side of eggs with someone (I always split) and we can never eat it all. I've been told a lot of the meat is pretty salty but I only hear praise for the thick bacon. I think they have old fashioned oatmeal ... Though I haven't tried it.

I've never been disappointed with the veggie omelet. A bit greasy ... Gotta love stuff cooked in butter!

The cinnamon roll French toast is pretty stellar ... With real maple syrup! You can get honey or molasses for the French toast or to drizzle over a hot buttered melt in ya mouth biscuit!

Bryant's is without a doubt a Memphis icon; bringing old fashioned stick-to-your-ribs grub for over thirty years. On cold days like today ... I could use some of that. The friendly cozy bustling environment doesn't hurt either.
PawPaw
Breakfast was good but too much food and too expensive. $20 for 2 meals and drinks and could not eat it all. No thanks

InLuv. Bryant's is the best. Their biscuits are the root of everything that is good in this world. If you don't like Bryant's then I don't ever want to know you.
Ryonnel
A nice diner, but it is a diner. Comparatively, Bryant's doesn't quite measure up to Juniper's college inn (the #1 breakfast spot in Memphis), but it shouldn't have to bc it's a diner. As a diner, its great for fresh biscuits, crispy bacon, tasty sausage and great eggs-probably the best eggs I've had from any breakfast spot. Also, as a diner, it's not going to have great pancakes (no pancakes actually), nor french toast, the ham is dry and so is the pork (un)tendorloin. It's nice tho and if I lived in Memphis, I would find myself coming back here for those biscuits - but come early bc the lines get long after 8:30a on Sats - oh and the gravy is kinda blah but the biscuits don't need it

Real Good Food and Ambiance. I only recently went to this place for the first time on a Saturday midday. The line was atrocious but we were in no rush so we waited. As it happened were in line next to two women who had driven in from Nashville just to try Bryant's based on the reviews. Review: the coffee, biscuits and honey were very good and although the place was packed we managed to set next to some interesting people to talk to. Had a great time. Much enjoyed. I would not go here if I wanted a quick stop though.

AWSOME PERIOD!!!

Fast, friendly, value. Finally tried out Bryant's this past Saturday. I was turned off by the cash only and the long line. Surprisingly, however, the line went really quick. I ordered enough food for 4 people and it was just over $20. The value was great and the service was super friendly and quick. The dining area was completely packed but wasn't uncomfortable. I wasn't impressed with the coffee and the meal wasn't anything better than what I could whip up at home. I would only return because of the value. This is not even close to the best breakfast in Memphis but it was a good experience.
Molly
By far the best breakfast and best value in Memphis! My husband and I have quickly become regulars. The biscuits are out of this world, plate lunches here don't disappoint either. BRING CASH! And be prepared to wait in a (sometimes) long line that moves surprisingly fast! Great local business to support.
Cresley Weatherford
The eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, bisquits, and gravy are the best!!! Go all out. The three little bigs not only provide a quality of taste, but also big portions. Very reasonable prices!!!
Smith
I've only had the breakfast but its amazing! it's so crowded on the weekends so I try to go during the week and its cash only so that kind of sucks but it's awesome!

Had lunch there today. Hamburger steak and onions. Friend had chicken and dumplings, they were great. Nice size portions. It might be better than lunch. Closes at 130. Cash only. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

So good. If you don't mind a short wait in line, this is a must stop for breakfast in Memphis. Screw all the diners and coffee shoppes. Bryant's is the place to go for a killer breakfast.
J
Not for me. I obviously am in the minority , but i was not impressed, ordered breakfast.. the famous biscuits,, ugh, bland gravy.. country ham was way overcooked, prob. will come back for lunch type food, but i missed the hype.
Ashley Hopkins
Best food I've had since my grandmother was alive and cooking!

Summer Shines. God bless Bryant's for keeping the sun shining in one place on Summer Ave. On Saturday mornings it is a collective who's who of SEC alumni in the Fall. The food is delicious, their country ham is the best, and they put McCalisters to shame with their sweet tea. The owner is impersonal and stoic but the quality of food makes it worthwhile. We get there before 8am because after 8:30am it becomes a line of nuts to butts. A family tradition I am proud to pass down.

Brother Junipers, eat your heart out!!. I really liked Brother Junipers up until a week ago. Was served cold day old biscuits and my scrambled egg mix with veggies, cheese and sausage was overcooked. The eggs weren't fresh either. Hardly what I'd call the best breakfast in Memphis. So this morning, I went to Bryant's. My first time at this popular breakfast spot since I moved here in late '94. What have I been missing??!! I ordered the Breakfast Sampler Platter: three eggs, a slice of bacon, a sausage patty, a slice of country ham, a piece of pork tenderloin, a potato pancake and three buttermilk biscuits. The food was hot and fresh. My eggs were cooked perfectly (hard scrambled), the sausage patty was very flavorful with a nice pepper kick, the bacon was crispy, the potato pancake was nicely seasoned and the buttermilk biscuits were some of the best I've ever eaten. I couldn't eat the ham or pork tenderloin I was so full. I bagged two of the biscuits to go. All around, a great breakfast. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Just don't expect healthy items on the menu. This is a greasy spoon. They serve the best breakfast in Memphis.
Valkraider
Pretty good. Not amazing, but very good. Would be better If they ran the line around the outside instead of through the middle. Annoyingly cash-only (it's 2011 for crying out loud)

Wonderful, cheap, no nonsense, Delicious, Southern style breakfast.. Before heading out of Memphis, I wanted to try one more place that served a southern style breakfast so I decided to try this place.

The decor was diner-like. The variety of people was great...everything from the suited up, corporate type, to the average blue collar worker...to the tourist like me...lol...this place had everything for all types of people. It's not fancy in the least, they serve coffee in styrofoam cups and breakfast in light, durable, plastic plates...but what they serve on those plates are heavenly. The biscuits were soft and delicious...I am sooo glad they gave me 3, because 2 wasn't going to be enough. The rest of the food was tasty...but the standout was the biscuits.

Would I recommend this place? Yes. Definitely! It's true...this is THE BEST BREAKFAST in town.

Great Breakfast. The BEST breakfast in Memphis. Get there early!! Lines are sometimes long, but they get you thru quickly.
DinerP
Best Biscuits!. Happiness is eating one of these biscuit sandwiches! Yes, the line was long on a Saturday around 9, but well worth it. I had a steak and egg biscuit and a country ham biscuit. This was my breakfast and lunch. I did several hours of yard work and didn't get hungry still around 5.

The biscuits really are the best I've had anywhere. I'm so happy that this place is in Memphis. It really did make my Saturday special. The formica tables reminded me of The Arcade downtown. I disagree with everyone who talks about the grease. I didn't think my sandwiches were that greasy.

And, yes it's cash only.

Next time, I'll try a platter for the whole experience.
Denise
Very fast service. I had an amazing omelette.

Bryant's Prices AREN'T Spooky!. In a scary economy, you have to watch your food dollars. I take bags of Sausage Biscuits to radio and television stations when we interview. Always a big hit and it doesn't cost me much at all. We love this mid-city morning treat. Favorite breakfast of www.memphisghost.com

Best breakfast in town!

They don't call it the best breakfast in town for nothin!

So much breakfast so little place. So much breakfast, so little place. It was Loebs BBQ in the sixties, then a Gridleys in the seventies , then a Bryants bbq, same pit and grill station. In the eighties you could get a beer at 7 am. Now it should be in the Guiness record book for number of bisquits made in a day! Largest fastest breakfast in Memphis. Great country ham, homemade soda bisquits, rich thick gravy. Bro and sister run the place now come twice and they will know you, but youll come more and more its just that GOOD.

Great breakfast with a unique feel. Awesome and robust coffee, with a huge variety of choices.

This weekend, we went to Bryant's for the first time. It was a hole in the wall, which is my favorite, and it was packed with many many Memphis Tiger fans getting a bite before the basketball game. The menu is simple, reasonably priced, and you get a ton of food. The thing we were supposed to order was "the breakfast sampler". We cheated. We didn't order that, since it involves a bunch of things we wouldn't have eaten. Instead, I got a three cheese omelet and Jeremy got scrambled eggs with chicken fried steak. They both come with biscuits, gravy, and grits. Our adorably 50's table was FULL of delicious delicious breakfast food. PS. You can see the rest of the list and what we've done by clicking
