Where do I begin? I recently took my wife to Gossip Night Club for our 8th wedding anniversary date and what an absolutely amazing experience, from the atmosphere, the food, the women, and the exceptional hospitality, everything was PERFECT! It’s been a long while since I felt so good about a place that I wanted to leave a review for it. Back when I had my old AOL account, I left a review for the Chuck E. Cheese in West Islip. My wife and I hosted a combined 5th birthday party there for our sons (who happen to be triplets!). The staff at Cheesy Chuck’s playground were so accommodating to all our requests; they had the Chuckster HIMSELF hand delivery the pizza and cake to the birthday table and allowed my wife to take 73 group photos of the Chuckster and party guests on her LG Chocolate cell phone. I was so moved by the display of hospitality from the staff that I handwrote a letter to Chuck E. Cheese Corporate in Irving, Texas, letting the Big Cheese himself know that every employee there deserved a raise. I wanted to leave a similar review for Gossip since my experience there was so excellent, I felt like I needed to get the word out there! Gossip had been recently recommended to me by a business partner of mine during one of our weekly business luncheons at Hooters. He had gone to Gossip a few weeks ago to celebrate after he had closed a major deal to bring in some new business partners. He knew that I was currently looking for an elegant place to take my wife for our 8th anniversary and figured Gossip would be a great suggestion. After lunch I called up my wife and relayed his recommendation. She absolutely LOVED the idea! – it was right up her alley - I immediately called my mother-in-law afterwards and set up arrangements for her to babysit our kids for the night of the anniversary. We arrived at Gossip around 11:03 pm and found a spot right by the front entrance. I noticed while walking to the door that the parking lot had been laid down using porous asphalt (years in the construction industry has trained my eye to see these sort of things) – it was a great choice by them as it’s very easy on the soles on the feet. When my wife and I went inside we went upstairs to the stage/bar area. We were flabbergasted -the atmosphere was ELECTRIC - the dimly lit lights had a blue hue to them and the music was absolutely bumpin’! The women of the club were all stunning. My wife and I headed to the bar first and ordered some food to eat. For an appetizer we ordered mozzarella sticks. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad for dinner and my wife got the bacon cheeseburger deluxe. As we were waiting for the food, some of the beautiful club ladies came up to us to make small talk. Now there have been only two times in my life when my jaw has physically dropped from seeing gorgeous things. The first time was when I saw my ex-wife, Walburga, dancing at the Centennial hoedown in Hanover, Kansas back in 1986. The second time was when I had seen the love of my life, (my current wife) laying down hot-mix asphalt off I-78, while going to Pennsylvania during one of my business trips. The third time happened when they brought out the food. First off, the mozzarella sticks were absolutely flawless. These were not your typical Polly-O string cheese bread crumb covered sticks. These sticks were buffalo mozzarella-grade that just oozed cheese when you bit into them. I hadn’t had mozzarella like that since my Nonna’s homemade burrata. My chicken Caesar salad was sensational. Perfectly cut bite-sized pieces of chicken thigh had been cut up and nestled over the leafy bed of iceberg lettuce. My wife’s burger was also exceptional, the quarter pound juicy patty was nestled perfectly between two perfectly dome shaped sesame seed buns. Nestled in-between the top bun and the patty was a crisp piece of iceberg lettuce, a perfectly cut tomato, freshly pressed ketchup, and four strips of stick-to-your-ribs bacon. After dinner we mingled until 1:00 am enjoying the atmosphere, workers and patrons. My wife and I had a fantastic time.

Very upscale place... $20 cover, $30 lap dances. $450 for half-hour VIP. Must check your coat which I did not like. Nice selection of girls. Nice & clean bathrooms. Just topless, Unless VIP I would assume.
