Los Cocos - Melrose Park - Photo album

Food is About as authentic as it gets any closer you would be in Mexico. Service was phenomenal and drinks were great. Atmosphere was welcoming.
Went on Tuesday with my Wife when the tacos are just $1. Had the spicy steak and chicken tacos that were delicious! Ordered the steak fajitas with rice and beans. Everything was great, good service I will definitely go back again!
I was looking at the menu and this lady could not wait we told her 6 minutes and she came back in 1 minute and asked if we were done. When she was taking the order I ordered a caldo de pollo and more, Then after 20 minutes and still not here only the other stuff I got was there, Except my caldo so
I haven't had this in a long time, when we went on a Sunday for take out- IT WAS PACKED in there. They told us it was so busy we had to wait 20-30 mins to place an order. So we left😞... Everybody's food looked good and the waitresses were nice and spoke as we entered.
I normally don't do reviews but this was a really bad experience. My first and last time there. Food and service was terrible. Server gave me attitude for correcting my order, as she was charging me for extra items that I never received.
Great place & food, but the service SUCKS! One waitress in special made the whole restaurant look bad! I asked for a cup of water, after buying food, drinks, and a bucket of beers, and it took three times of me asking for her to take it! After 20 mins had passed. She never went to ask if we were ok
Server was super nice and made great dish recommendations, I could taste authentic mexican tostadas and also if you get the opportunity to try the devil's shrimp... That's the bomb if you are into spicy food, I am definitely coming back to this establishment.
To be honest I recommend coming at the end of the month on a Saturday. to see the "chinelos" they have awesome food you won't regret it.
