Tried the stone pot slow braised chicken. The sauce was very good and chicken was juicy. Fast service at a very reasonable price. Will be back to try out other dishes.

a chinese guy wasn't friendly, he didn't offer water ( i ended up finding a jar of water), braised chicken was very small with bones so that it was hard to eat, the sauce was very salty, rice smelt funny(probably oxidized, old batch). $9.50 was ok for lunch but not ok for what i paid for.

Came here with a couple of friends on a Friday night. It was quite packed so I will recommend coming in earlier to get a table. Besides that, I will definitely recommend their soup dumpling, xiao long bao. It was super juicy and quite traditional. Good atmosphere, good value for food and a gem if you like chinese food.

I eat here last night. Had the shenjian bun (super juicy little buns... Think a ciao long bao, but pan fried, yes that juicy) and it was really good. I don't think I've had similiar ones in Melb before. I'd recommend it for ppl to try. I also had the meat ball noodle. It looked a bit simple, a ball of plain noodle and meatball on a small plate. However the noodle was surprising nice, the texture was great and the meat ball was great too. I will try to come back again to try their other foods.

Good quality food and very friendly service. We were thinking of getting takeaways and the boss was very thoughtful, pointing out dishes that are best to eat in. The wontons with chili oil ($11.50 for 12) were fresh and not swimming in chili oil like in some places, though the sauce was not particularly amazing. The Shanghai salted meat & vege rice ($11.80) is definitely one we'll go back for (note, this is not fried rice). Xio long bao ($10.80 for 8) were juicy but not as thin as some well known places around town. Overall would recommend.
