This shop's selling point is that all their dish is $10 including the fried fish. The fish itself is pretty big although lacking flavour and can be fried longer to make it crispier. The Tom yum is seasoned nicely and topped up with fish balls and minced meat. Food - 7 Service - 7 Vibe - 7 Price - $

It’s self serve food court kind of restaurant. Huge potion of beef salad , whole fish with rice side salad and soup for $10 ! Good price for value, staff are very friendly, very relaxing place to eat .

Get chicken rice (hainanses chicken) not as traditional but it's good Come back for fried fish because it was looking so yummy.... And it's so yummy. But you may needed to asked more souce to make the fish soft and little juicy.

2.5 ⭐️ Food in here is ok, I ordered a Pad kee Mao Noodles and the flavour is nice, not enough chilli though and the beef was tough. What really got me annoyed was that the person who took my order said it would take 7 mins. 10 mins past and still no sight of my order. I kept chasing them up and no news. Finally after 20 mins my takeaway arrived. Not happy. Also saw that a staff member split beer 🍺 on the floor and for the whole 20 mins of me standing there no one bothered wiping it off.

Nothing impressive about Maakin. The pork hock was flavourless and the deep fried fish was dry. Plenty of other great thai restaurants in the city with similar pricing and great taste.

Sign on window said Melbournes cheapest eats Main Course $9.95 We entered hesitantly but were pleasantly surprised Looks like a Uni cafeteria Order meals at counter pay & sit and quickly delivered to our table It was a Fri night right opposite our hotel The Sebel Bottle wine on special tonight half price We had 4 main courses including a whole fried fish & a bottle wine for $53 You get what you pay for but value for $ it was perfect ( Next morning we spent $45 breakfast 1 course each) In perspective I give them a Thumbs Up New restaurant & they are trying hard & great value for $

In short, we stopped eating and went somewhere else for dinner. The food quality was that poor. The staff were nice, though.
