We had my sons baptism here today and I can only hope that someone who is thinking of having an event here will read this review and reconsider. We arrived at 1:30pm for a three course lunch and didn't have mains served until 4pm (Some of our guests who had a long trip home had left without eating their main meal ). When we explained this to the events manager afterwards her response was "I thought your mains came out quite quickly". Ummmm how can you consider a 2.5 hour wait quick??? The fried chicken and chips (see picture) which were served to the kids were all still raw. It was only after being told several times by the parents and myself that the events manager finally decided to take them back to the kitchen. They were then returned 40 minutes later only this time they had been so badly burnt that the kids were unable to eat them. The excuse for this blunder "the apprentice chef cooked the kids meal". This became the pattern throughout the afternoon when something went wrong the events manager was quick to blame someone else instead of acknowledging a mistake had been made and simply apologising for it. If the management of this establishment had any sense they would keep this women as far away from customers as possible. She has no idea what she is doing when it comes to organising an event and her customer service skills can only be described as comical. There were several other examples that ruined this special day for us but the worst part of this horrible experience was afterwards when I voiced my complaints to the events manager, floor manager and owner, not one apology was given, or any acknowledgement of their errors. I'm not usually the type of person who will go to the effort of writing something like this but after the horrible experience we had today I can only hope this will convince someone looking at this place to look elsewhere. I have given this place a 1 star review only because it is the lowest score I can give.

Beautiful place but terrible service. It was like the waiters avoided us. We ordered two entrees and only one came out. Our main meals came out 10-15mins apart and our drinks were super slow as well, once we caught a waiter. The food wasn't that great either. Would be amazing if the service was better
