Sandwich Chefs are a great cafe in the heart of Spencer Outlet Centre. They serve wraps, burgers, roast meat with vegetables, and of course, sandwiches! Plus fresh juices, soft drinks & fresh barista made coffee too. In the mornings they have delicious breakfast burgers 🍔 to give you that extra energy for the day! For lunch you can’t go past the classic roast pork veggies. With Crispy crackling and rich gravy on top too.

Missing food was the first disappointment, only 2 out of 3 cheesesteaks delivered, then biting into my roast beef roll made me immediately realise that it was not slow roasted for 14 hours, unless the oven was on 50 degrees. Meat was tough, chewy and like chewing on an old shoe. Next time I will stick with pizza from the local.

This place is terrible. I ordered a burger and it was only half cooked. We sent it back and after 10 minutes it came back a little more cooked but still not enough. Worse still the chips were not redone so I had old stale cold chips returned. The burger was probably the worst burger I have had in 10 years, even without the cooking problems. Not sure how you can mess up a burger, but these guys easily could. My wife ordered a roast beef and salad sandwich. The salad ingredients were off. It was way overpriced for the menu even if the food quality was good.

DO NOT EAT HERE. This place should be closed. I went here today and bought a sausage roll. I’d eaten 1/4 of it when I realised the meat inside was covered in big black and white spots of mould. When I took it back to the counter the woman serving there made an excuse that the food is prepared off site, however the sausage roll must have been sitting in the display cabinet for days on end to be in that state.

Normally I wouldn't even bother to write a review about a sandwich place, but this is so bad, I just can't let it go. I would give no star at all if I could. In the rush to go back to work, thought I get a roast pork sandwich that I can just eat at my desk, well safe to say it was the worst roast pork sandwich I have ever had in my nearly 30 years working life! Took first bite, I spat out a piece of tough pork, not just chewy, its impossible to eat, then I found all pieces are the same, not to mention there is also a large piece of pork rind in it. After removed all pork, I took a second bite, spat it out again, this time was the beetroot had a funny almost fermented taste! For $12.50 I had some bread with lettuce, cucumber! With Sushi, Gourmet salads, Chinese dumpings, Vietnamese available for lunch these days for under $10, this is simply disgraceful! May I suggest the owner learning how to make a roast first.

I bought an overpriced wrap from here for $8.50 only to find that the avocado, lettuce and tomato inside was off. The first bite I took I had to spit out because it tasted disgusting and smelt even worse, very disappointing as I haven't eaten all day and am starving but now have no time to buy anything else as I was in a rush to get the bus home.

At least learn about coffees if you offer them! I had often noticed how sparsely patronized this place was, compared to Coffee Club right next door so had never tried it. Coffee Club was full on a recent visit, so I had a short macchiatto here. It was nothing like a short macch, but not too bad. So, I have given it a second try today and the "short macch" in front of me bears no relationship to yesterday's "short macch" or to any sort of short macchh. And is not good. Some basic training perhaps?!
