Loved my experience here. The food was almost alluring. The eggplant was definitely a highlight dish. I have never had an eggplant taste so sweet - however my wife may say otherwise ;). The gnocchi was also extremely delicious, however, it is so rich, we struggled to finish it. We also got the sashimi, but I would skip it if I were to go again, as it was "just okay"- wifey 2022.

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. The owners are part of the show and will come and talk to your table (not everyone will be into that sort of thing but we loved it). We had the feed me menu and a flight of sake each. The food by and large is delicious. A real fusion flavour, and some of the fusions might not be for everyone (the beef rib had a bit too much going on for my taste). Overall lovely people and good food. The Sake was very nice too!

Japanese-fusion tapas-style bar and restaurant with great vegetarian options. We ordered the vegetable tempura, the nasu dengaku, the shiitake risotto and the signature ramen gnocchi. The vegetable tempura and the nasu dengaku were more traditional - the tempura was delicious, fluffy and crunchy with a matcha salt sprinkle on top and a flavourful dipping sauce. The eggplant dengaku was also nice, but compared to the other dishes of the night, our least favourite. The more fusion-style dishes of the shiitake risotto and the ramen gnocchi were both delicious, well-balanced and unexpected. Overall, very reasonably priced and generous portions, combined with interesting and flavourful food makes this a go-to dinner option on Lygon street.

Kumo kumo kumo! What a darling of a restaurant. If I could give 6 stars, I would. The service was impeccable, fast, efficient and on top of it. The menu was great with a decent variety of interesting food ... got to try the gnocchi without being overly confusing. The drinks menu is outstanding with a fine selection of beers, whiskey and sake. But most of all the venue is just splendid, a real delightful experience to dine here. You can't go wrong if you want to make it a special night here. Kudos to the team! You rock!
