I get a 20 minute break from work, I decided to get a subway in this time, there was no que.
My whole sandwich made perfectly then doused in sauce I didn't ask for. No apology. New sandwich made using the rest of my break and my old one tossed in garbage. Waste of my time.

The lady counted 3 pieces of beetroot for a large salad, put the rest back and charged me for a large. When I clarified if that was for large, she said yes and then to compensate, added a tonne of jalapenos and pickles and added another handful of cheese.
What?
This is one experience. I've had countless experiences where I've been disappointed by their lack of customer service.

Service was absolutely disgusting the server didn’t listen at all to what I asked and just dumped the meat and salad on the sub like she didn’t even want to be there I’ve worked at subway and fast food for most of my life and I would have never treated a customer the way she did had to repeat myself to her several times will never come back

Found several white plastic pieces from my food and reported to the store. Their answer was very simple "we are not using the kind of materials". This time my wife found something very stiff and sharp pieces and I talked to this store to pass the pieces. What they said this wasnt harmful. Subway HQ failed franchise quality control and keep advertising as healthy brand.
When your customer find inedible pieces from the food, contact - ask health check - collect a part of the sample (not whole) - analysis - report to the customer what they are and how they get in - proper compensation.
I even refused refunds for those 2 cases because all human can make mistake but what they present is intentional ignoring their customers and no strict food hygiene standard for their franchise plus OHS rules.
I dont think the HQ customer care department has appropriated SOPs for hygiene issue handling as well.
No more subway garbage food in my life.
