Hudsons Coffee

I ordered a Vienna to have here. I got it in a take away cup, blistering hot on a Sunday morning. 15 minutes after ordering the coffee i took a sip my tongue is so burnt it hurts, it's affected my taste so much for booking a $100 Lunch. I'm from sydney this is the worst coffee I've ever had. Danish was okay but both coffees me and my partner had were just awful.

The place is small, I have been here with a friend for a breakfast catch up. It's like the usual Hudson coffee, average coffee and standard choice of breakfast toast! My friend had ordered a raisin toast, but when served they had not offered any spreads.! The water glass that was provided was not clean and had to be replaced.

Their service is getting degraded each day .. I used to big fan of Hudson Coffee .. But their service these days is like they just don't care. I ordered an iced Latte. It tasted horrible. I asked if they can make it a bit sweet. They pointed me to place where they keep sugar. They should know that sugar will not dissolve in the ice. I asked, for some sweet / sugar syrup. All they have to say is, Sorry we don't keep sugar syrup. C'mon you are in Melbourne. It is know for it best coffee. Don't expect this kind of service in Melbourne. Feel Sorry for you guys .. hope this feedback reaches you and you start taking your customers seriously.

Don't visit this shop never. I ordered Iced latte, they used old espresso shot which is kept in fridge. I asked staff, why didn't you make new one, they said if we are busy, we usually used old espresso that made in the morning. Is it serious? Even it was not busy. There was nobody except for me, JUST MYSELF. If you visit this cafe and order any coffee, you should keep watching them how to make your order.

Today I visited the King street store for the first time and was very pleased with my visit! Not only was my coffee perfect but the atmosphere of the cafe was great! The barista who made my coffee was able to cater to my needs and he even brought my coffee over to me even though it was busy. Would highly recommend and will be returning again soon!
