Local Burger Co

A burger place you huxta try. For under $20 you can get a burger, chips, drink and 4 pieces of fried chicken! Got the basic: lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese. Meat is cooked perfectly with a bit of charring for that flavor and texture. Fresh salads that weren't too wet so it didn't dribble everywhere. On a scale of red rooster (0) nuggets to wicked wings (10), I'd give their wings a 6. Chips a little too salty for my liking. Tables also a bit sticky.

Delivery experience pretty poor. Vanilla thick shake has no discernible flavour, tastes like cheap soft serve. Food stone cold when delivered. Outrageous delivery fee and they won’t even bring it to your door, you have to go downstairs and outside because the bike rider doesn’t want to leave their bike for 1 minute. Save your money & walk to your nearest burger bar.

Ordered two burgers, cheesus, on good Friday (Easter Friday) with chips and onion rings for takeaway. It was busy with delivery orders so we expected a bit of a wait. It was great to be able to stand there and watch the burgers get made.... But it also showed us why our burgers were as bad as they were. Lots of orders going, but the timing was clearly off. We watched burgers get out on the grill for ages and then onto a resting equally as long. We received our burgers about 30min later, which was a while but expected. We live only a few doors down. When we arrived home we ate immediately. The burgers were cold, overcooked and very very dry. Onion rings good but chips undercooked. My wife has been here before and had a better experice, but this was pretty abysmal.

There’s just no chance you guys use cos lettuce instead of iceberg. I refuse to believe it. The only justifiable way that you would use a soggy lettuce in a burger is if there’s a worldwide shortage of iceberg lettuce… which there isn’t. Lettuce is for crunch, please respect the burger and use iceberg (which is far cheaper, too). Meat was great. No special sauce is a real bummer.

Terrible customer service on a Saturday night at 11pm. Imagine this: You paid for your meal WITH A BOWL OF SLAW Sat at the table. Food came out. Then the only cutlery you receive are plastic knives. No spoons. No forks. When approaching the bar, all you receive is an acknowledgment confirming they have no spoons or forks, and advised to just eat slaw with a plastic knife. Deplorable and enough to turn any reasonable customer away from ever wanting to return.
