Selection Cafe

Used to do great food here but haven't reopened with a kitchen since its brief hiatus a month ago. Good selection of beers in a nice looking pub, has pool and a upstairs function area. Trivia nights can be a bit of fun. Does get a rough crowd though, with tradies who attend purely so they can frequent the bathroom.

Nice place for a Friday evening drinks after a hard weeks work. The place is so much better than your average pub. It has a nice selection of beer and the food is pretty decent with some great bargains during the week days. Easily accessible by tram it's a must go to if you're around the south Melbourne area.

Great space for a family event. My brother had his birthday here, the space was great for a larger family with space to walk around and mingle, the share plates were great (calamari being a highlight) and the staff were lovely. The venue was relatively quiet for a Sunday, so meant we got to really enjoy ourselves. Thanks Market Hotel!

Thank you to the Market Hotel team for accommodating us all yesterday! Booked a weekday team lunch here and Siobhan and the team were super communicative, friendly and professional throughout the booking and preorder process. Everyone was complimentary about their meals. The burgers here are phenomenal. Looking forward to returning to try everything from the menu! This is a great spot for a casual feed with friends. Looks fun and festive inside and really spacious.

Went there last night for a birthday and the place was great. Alan was our bartender, and he made the party even more fun by being interactive and joining in with our fun. There was also a great selection of drinks at the bar for us, with heaps of range. I would definitely recommend this place for any functions or events you may have.
