Choclateria San Churro

Hate to write this review for this place as it has been our favourite place to hang out for after work desserts but it's just not the same anymore. We felt like the quality of churros is not the same, the order takes ages to arrive (which I can still kind of understand We went on a Friday eve,it was pretty busy) but second time experiencing this. Most likely won't be visiting this particular branch again but I feel like if your paying around $30-40 for desserts they might as well be worth it. Staff on shift were pretty nice though, have never had any issues with them

Third time coming here in a fortnight and the service is really slow. I decided to come today at a quiet time thinking my same order (a shake) would be quick. After 15 mins, I asked if they had forgotten it. It was evident they had on their screen. There was also only 2 other customers and 6 staff members

Took really long time to be served. 10 minutes to order (we were the only ones in line) and at least 30 minutes for our order (an ice cream and fruit salad chocolate fondue) could see that every one else was also waiting as long Not sure if they were understaffed that night or under trained/under paid but it was a really long time to wait

The first hot chocolate I got here was AMAZING, and worth the money. But the next 4 I've gotten have tasted burnt, I have to get them re-done and the top is nice and then the bottom is burnt again. The chocolate is becone so minimal for something thats so expensive for the size and bad quality. They have also given me full milk after I ask for and pay for lactose free milk. They have such lovely service and are so nice, so it's such a shame they keep screwing up the drinks in an otherwise perfect place.

Do not support this business. Props to all of their young workers who put up with the disgusting treatment of their bosses. Not only are they severely underpaying their staff, but are breaching countless amounts of fair working conditions. The owners are rude to customers, rude to their staff and are lacking all aspects of professionalism. Someone needs to teach these people how to run a business. If I could give it 0 stars, I would.
