Qeleven Cafe

I have been going to Q11 Cafe since 2005. Why? because of the consistent high standard of coffee, food and service. The weekly specials on the menu are carefully selected and prepared by Amanda and Barry serves the food up with pride. All staff are efficient and friendly. What more can you want in a cafe?

What should have been a lovely mother's day experience, unfortunately wasn't. We made a booking of 5 but due to our family's accidental lack of communication we became a 7. What I can only assume was the owner came out and very rudely told us 7 was not possible (even though food was already under way of 6 people) and so one person left. The restaurant was not full by any means and he could have handled the situation better. He was condescending, aggressive, unprofessional and never once apologise for the way he treated us. I work in hospo also and this kind of thing happens all the time and it is easy to accommodate these situations in a much more pleasant way. My sister Sat there crying through the entire meal. It is the worst experience I gave ever had at a restaurant. It is a shame because the food was lovely.
