Popular Korean restaurant for traditional korean dishes, not korean bbq. Getting very busy especially during weekend so you are better book ahead for your table or come early to avoid long queuing.
Food is good. We really enjoyed the snow cheese chicken (boneless), silky tofu and seafood soup (quite spicy though) and the seafood pancake (very filling). Japchae and beef bulgogi were ok too. Free refilled side dishes of seaweed, kimchi and pickle.
Price is very reasonable.
Service was a minus point here as it was quite slow. The staffs were super nice, friendly and accommodating but there were only 2 staffs running the front house for the whole restaurant during a busy sunday night. Thus, the service couldnt be good. They were really under-staff on the day we went though.
Overall, still a very good place to try out for Korean cuisine. Recommended!

Pizza's nice, but quite expensive; The Budak pizza was not that great because the sauce tasted very chemically (kind of like the instant noodle version), but the rest were delicious.

My partner and I have been eating in this place for the past 4 years. I was surprised that recently the amount of pork portion is decreasing. As can been seen in the photo it's literally half of the plate. I did requested to add more meat but the answer was negative. If it were not for the kindness of the lady waitress that served us super well and was very attentive. I had returned the food and wouldn't have paid. $25 for that it's embarrassing to give as a restaurant

Great vibe at this place! Felt like I was transported to a local eatery in Seoul. Loved the Dae-ji guy bap....so authentic and such a soul warming comfort soup. The LA beef short ribs and jajangmyeon was delicious too! I'm coming back with a few more friends so we can have more variety.

really good quality food, their portion sizes are generous as well so you do really get what you’re paying for.
service was fast and had an easy ordering system.
they do not split the bill on groups so just keep in mind!

Outstanding service, the fried chicken wasabi flavour was so good and the ginseng chicken is a must have for anyone whose never tried it, you can eat the whole chicken bones and all. The bones will melt in your mouth.

This place is highly understaffed. There was only 1 server on Sunday night that running around try to host and take orders from customers, serve and put orders through as well as respond to customers needs. Sometimes we saw the kitchen staff had to run out to help him serve too.
The service also very slow. We had to wait more than 40 mins to get our food.
Ordered japchae, budae-jigae soup which were disappointed.
Japchae was very oily and the lettuce was a big no-no. Also no meat in the dish at all bit maybe they did said that in the menu 🤷🏽♀️
Budae-jigae soup is also not worth money at all as they came with a bunch of instant noodles, few mushrooms, and some slice of sausage and pretty much that as you can see in the photo. Taste plain.
Not really recommend.

I LOVE GUKBAB. Their soups are tasty and so flavourful - I cannot fault anything. I love how generous they are with their japchae. It's an entre but it could be served as a main. Fried chicken? Hello - they're juicy and crispy.
