Chocolateria San Churros

San churros is a personal favourite of mine and has always lived up to high expectations, however this store was highly lacking in customer service. The store only had two tables seated and had two workers. I had to stand at the counter to make my order for about 10 minutes, being told half way through that they’ll be just a moment. Besides that, there were no friendly greetings, no acknowledgement that we were there, just focused on preparing drinks and food that were previously ordered. Finally when being served, I showed a UNiDAYS discount and was told that they had never seen that deal before. They said they would try it and they were not at all happy or friendly about it. The interaction was hasty and very abrupt as if we were being unpleasant customers in the 2 minutes of ordering. The food took an average amount of time to arrive and tasted the same as normal. Nothing was said when it was served and no facial expressions. I have given it 2 stars as customer service is so important and I was very disappointed with it. I will not be coming back to this store and would recommend the managers to revaluate their training as their employees need a refresher.

I always love visiting San Churro in Docklands!! The staff are always so friendly and it's so easy to access amongst all the other shops in the precinct. Our favourite thing to order would be the filled churros - we got the Chocolate Hazelnut & Cookie Butter filled Churros! Delicious every single time! 🤌🏻

Wait staff were extremely rude. We attempted three times to order one of their hot chocolates. When the drink wasn't received, we asked one of the wait staff for it. She came back with our docket to prove it wasn't ordered (even after the three attempts at the register) then ran away (literally ran). We then waited five minutes at the register but were ignored, so ordered on our phones, mentioning how our order was wrong. We were served two drinks ten minutes later, only to have one snatched from the table after a minute. No apologies were given for the rude behaviour, and no reason for the two drinks that soon turned to one. We've had excellent experiences at the Knox City Sac Churro and we're disheartened to receive such bad hospitality at the Docklands store.
