Wing Loong Chinese Restaurtant

This restaurant is located right across Queen Victoria on Elizabeth Street side. We ordered the stir fry vegetable and spicy chicken chop on rice dishes. The vegetable was bland and the mushroom in the dish for some reason also bland. The spicy chicken chop have great fragrant but lacking any flavours. Portion is generous. Food - 2 Service - 6 Vibe - 6 Price - $$

Nice place to eat, Been here a couple of time. enjoy eating their seafood menu, always get fresh prawn etc. Yet, quite disappointed with their customer service sometime. There’s a time when a friend of mine that is a vegetarian come to eat with us here, He order a soup meal and ask the person in-charge whether they can make the meal suitable for a vegetarian.. The person in-charge say ‘YES, THEY CAN’ then proceed to made the order at the front cashier/Kitchen speaking in cantonese AND criticising our friends request. They are laughing at our friend.., for wanting the soup meal to be only contain vegetable and they talk to each-other how silly it is to order such thing. We all heard it loud and clear and understand every single Cantonese words they speak, when they notice we are stunt and looking at them, they just smile. Last time I ordered a cold bottle drink here, they give me an expired one.. when I tell the person in charge, he just ask me to take another bottle from the fridge that is not yet expired.. He then put the expired one back on the fridge. They really need some improvement on the customer service.

I passed by this restaurant for many times and today I finally went into the restaurant with my friends. The food is amazing! Especially for the shrimp dumplings and Steamed BBQ Pork Bun. I love them! Especially, the Century Egg Congee with Chicken (porridge) reminds me of my hometown back in China. It’s really a nice place for the traditional Chinese cuisine. I will definitely try more dishes next time!
