Pelicana Chicken

The worst Korean fired chicken I’ve ever had in Melbourne. They didn’t deep fry the chicken properly. As shown in the pictures, there are four pieces of chicken not being separated during deep frying process (You can see it from the coating on those fried chickens). And the texture of chickens are extremely dry. Also, they didn’t provide pickle radish. It’s so weird as a Korean chicken restaurant.

This has become my go-to guilty pleasure Korean Fried Chicken. Some of their sauces are pretty spicy without being too sweet - delicious! Only reason for marking down a star is their pick-up is really hit-and-miss. Sometimes the app works great, but most of the time you have to guess it'll be ready with it sometimes the food's been hanging around for a while or it's not ready. Otherwise, service has always been good and the chicken and sides are great.

This place is fricking amazing! I’ve ordered from them countless times with no issues, I’ve had the chance to dine in recently. The staff were very friendly and the food was simply delicious. My mouth is watering thinking about it. I recommend trying out the special Pelicana sauce chickens! Their tteokbokki is my all time go to. Can’t wait to order from here again. My only issue was the amount of mess in the dining area. Even though it wasn’t busy the tables and chairs weren’t packed up and cleaned and they stayed like that for a while. Regardless I’m glad the staff paid extra attention to us, making sure we were satisfied with the service.
