Coffee and hot chocolate hits the spot quite nicely for me but the desserts are only ok. Pancakes I had here were like they were just taken out of the packet and served with ice cream. Wasn't terrible but not nice.

The register has to stop taking order to prepare a plate as well so the line went super slow. Price is expensive for it sizes. Hot chocolate I got is super foamy so you can see a lot of bubble on it. Nice to try onec in a very long time.

One of my favorite Chocolate café in Melbourne!
Located in one of the busiest Shopping Mall in Melbourne, Max B delivers great products with great ambiance.
I’ve tried most of their products and i loved almost all of it!
Huge fan of their milk chocolate series.
Their waffle is also so sooo good (add an extra ice cream).

Nothing particularly outstandingly delicious, but the Belgian waffles and chocolate pizzas remained a couple of favourites of mine. Service wasn’t the best, and it could get really crowded at times inside, but overall a nice dessert spot located strategically in the middle of Melbourne CBD.

The place is really nice and lively. The only reason for giving 1 star is to let the customers wait for more than half an hour to get their order. In this picture, it's a 80s milkshake and I waited 45 minutes to get my order. The place is overall amazing but their way to manage the customers and their orders during the rush hours is not good. So my advice is to visit this place when it's not busy.

How can anything so good be so bad? I had even heard that Max Brenner had gone out of business all closed many stores and based on tonight’s experience I can see why. Our experience simply terrible, such a shame it has so much potential. After a 15 minute wait just to order 8 simple hot chocolates 1 hour later our drinks finally arrived. Believe me the photos are deceiving we’re talking like a thimble full or a medicine cup of milk - with another tiny glass to refill, mostly foam so about 30ml - 50ml of milk max. It’s just embarrassing that they can serve this stuff up and think the public are going to enjoy it and want to come back. Not on your life! The product is great, taste delicious, the service was appalling and it was about 1/4 of the size it should be. And top it off you get slugged $1 per marshmallow extra! Wow. I mean seriously.

If you love chocolate you’ve found your place.
Sharing platter was full of almost overwhelming sweet treats.
Hot chocolate was really good and the 80s Milkshake was easily one of the best vanilla milkshakes I’ve had.
All served in unique cups that enhance the dish.
All the staff were incredibly polite, apologetic when crepes were unavailable and eager to please and make up for it.
A great experience, bring an appetite and sweet tooth!
