Buza Chicken

I really enjoyed their Korean fried cauliflower but their fried chicken didn’t taste fresh, maybe it was just bad batch. They also poured way too much mayo in the cabbage that I had to tell them to refill more cabbage, the ratio can definitely do some improvement. The place is really dirty and stuffy at the time I dined it so I’ll unlikely return. I might check out their other store or just do take away next time.

Fantastic Korean fried chicken shop. Spicy, hot boneless chicken is a perfect level of spice. We ordered a whole chicken portion, which is perfect for 2 people. The seaweed roles were delicious. I highly recommend here as a great Korean fried chicken shop, or KFC. Service was okay, but they were pretty busy. Price was reasonable. Some might say shop looks a bit rough, but I'm prepared to tolerate it considering the quality of food. We will be back.

Had a dinner with few mates here, seated around the back corner, which is perfect spot to bounce some banters with minimal foot traffic interruption. Had the snowy fried chicken soy garlic fried chicken, seafood pancake and army stew. Personally i think their soy garlic fried chicken is FTW, probably one of the bests in Melbourne

The food literally made me sick. Tasted a bit suspicious as having this weird/off I felt, especially when I had frozen chicken from long time stored in freezer, blood taste. So, no wonder some said they have good marinated chicken because this can hide taste of blood. Once I came back to home, on the day, that night, I and my partner were sick badly such as food poisoning, we continuously went to toilet, couldn't sleep well. Fresh ingredients are the top priority keeping good reputation. Some could be deceived thanks to sauce, but others, trying their best to find good restaurants and enjoy valuable time with other at good ones never be fooled.

Finally go to try Buza after hearing all about it and it did not disappoint! They’ve definitely got some of Melbourne’s best Korean fried chicken! We got their whole fried chicken (with bone) with half original and half smoked soy flavour. The fried chicken here is so delicious - the coating is super crispy and not too thick, the chicken is juicy and tender, and the smoked soy sauce is to die for! We also tried the hot pot tteokbokki which came in a huge portion. It’s cooked at the table and stays bubbling hot, so it’s perfect for a cold day. Beware of the spice though - if you can’t take spicy then I suggest you go the lowest option as they definitely take their spice level very seriously!
