Shukufuku Japanese Bento

Not too sure where to start. The food itself was poorly made, it's no where close to an authentic Japanese way, the seasoning is just all wrong. A lot of the food are overcooked and I doubt some of the side dishes just come straight from frozen supermarket packs. Not here to discuss whether it's Japanese owned or not, but I reckon one of the reason why people sort out "Japanese owned" is because they are genuinely passionate about food. For this price there are genuine good quality Japanese food out there. I'm sorry but I did not walk into a Japanese restaurant to get served Chinese pre-made frozen food. I would not recommend this place unless there's a fundamental change of the way they treat food and customer.

Shukufuku is one of my favorite restaurants in Melbourne. I often dine here or order it for delivery. I first ate here when it just opened. Ever since then, I come get quite often and never get bored of it. My favorite dishes are the curry udon and their spicy chicken egg roll. Their new drink, koichi yuzu is also very refreshing and different. I always feel welcome every time I come cause all the staff are very friendly. I really recommend people to go here.
