Tavistock House Cafe

I have a splendid experience today. I went passing by the Cafe which is within walking distance from W Melbourne. The cappuccino froth is absolutely beautiful. The espresso coffee was great because it's not weak or strong espresso. The texture and aroma are well-managed. The schnitzel portion is well served. Highly recommended this place 😊🙏

Service and food were adequate but not up to standards. Food pricing outside on sign for big breakfast was $19 but inside when sat down turns out its $24. Also Food menu is diffrent to what is being served, for example had on menu roasted potato's but gave out fried potato's. Service wise everything was good except at end when we finished our food, staff took away our umbrella that covered us from the sun to give to another new customer which is the same as kicking us out of the restaurant after we ate. Food wise, it can make you feel full when eating all but taste wise is nothing special, tomato felt a bit off, bacon was too salty and mushrooms felt a bit mushy. Overall not that kind of service or food to be expected from a highly rated place. Which could mean regulars are treated better then visitors as we had our luggage with us waiting for the hotel check in.
