Fast friendly service with a cosy atmosphere.
The burgers are cheap and damn good !
I got the cannuck burger and it was bursting with juice and flavour. Bacon was crispy, cheese melty, patty was thick and juicy.

Don't let the small line that winds out the door fool you, wait to order, because the burgers are awesome. The wait for your food is very quick. The prices of all the items are very reasonable, $9 for the TX burger, but there are also so massive burgers to be tried.

I almost don't want to let people know about the place, because it's pretty busy already. Cafe 51 truly has the best burgers in Melbourne, so I have to let you know how great it is. The variety of burgers is amazing. Yes, you can do the old regular burger, but how about an ELVIS burger with Peanut Butter, or the Touchdown Burger with 2 Hot dogs wrapped in bacon with a burger on top? My favorite is the Aloha Chicken Burger with pineapple. This place really knows how to make a great burger, and how to make the crazy burgers. They do it all so well. I wish I lived closer. Thankfully, I sometimes work within 2k's of the place, so that's where I have to go to lunch, there is nothing nearby that comes close. Well, maybe Merrywell's Burgers at Crown is "close," but Cafe 51 is far and above the best. Prices are very easy on the wallet. P.S. The parking meters need to be fed, or parking tickets are given very quickly on that block.

The burgers are good the variety is awesome. Huxtaburger has better burgers, so does Proper and Son, but less variety and more expensive. This place is quite cheap, but get in early or late to beat the lunchtime queues out the door, or call your order in by phone in advance.

Best burger range in Melbourne and you can't beat there value. 12 for a meal da is unheard of in the burger culture that is now everywhere in Melbourne. Always my go to place. They do get busy quickly and there isn't that much seating available so get in early or after the rush

Was recommended to go here by a friend, the burgers are full of flavour and of a decent size, and very well priced.
Not recommended for people on diets... or family history of heart disease.
Will go again when i'm back in Melbourne for sure.
