Schnitz

Schnitz was a place we visited a few times while we stayed in Southbank for a week. We ordered the chicken schnitzel, coleslaw & chips and the chicken schnitzel, garden salad & chips. I'm totally addicted to the special chicken salt they put on the fries! Cozy environment, friendly staff, super fast service and the music channel they had playing on the screen was awesome. Yes it may have been a touch expensive but when you compare the prices to other restaurants around in Southbank, it's probably one of the cheaper places. It's worth every cent though. Really wish Schnitz would open up in South Australia!

Just ordered a vegan Parmagedon wrap and told the lady twice that I want it to be strictly vegetarian but I was given a chicken wrap. I had no way to figure it out until I ate few mouths. Left a very very bad taste and spooled my night and weekend totally. When asked for a manager I was shown another billing lady who clearly wasn't the manager. She just said sorry and offered me another one but I just asked them to refund and walked off. . VEGETARIANS PLEASE STAY AWAY.

Amazing food at a decent price. As new visitors to Melbourne we came across Schmitz in the Crown entertainment plaza. So as you can tell they do schnitzel with your choice of meat with or w/o chips and salad. For a fast food outlet I found the food to be well prepared, cooked and served. Best of all it was fresh and not fake. Service was quick and friendly. I can highly recommend this branch of Schmitz 😄

Lot to improve Not a pleasant experience when I visited this place two weeks ago. I ordered vegetarian option, however they delivered chicken. Luckily, I spotted that. Tried to call the lady who was serving, but they seem to ignore and were busy in chit-chat. After a while, went to the counter and complained about the same, and they were apologetic and replaced chicken with vegetarian option. They again apologized when they delivered, and I appreciate that. Now about food quality, Schnitz was horrible. Oil was dripping, and that spoiled the taste. Later that night, I got slight stomach pain, and I had to vomit out everything(good for me). Was ill for next 2-3 days with very bad throat. Will not be going again, and have already warned many of my colleagues.
