Wasn't so impressed that dishes weren't available when we ordered them...or the limited numbers left...the menu is small enough as it is so try to keep it stocked! It wasn't very busy when we were there. The venue is small and cozy. Food was so-so...a bit on the salty side. Desserts were the best.

Lovely, lovely, lovely! A wonderful find, tucked away on Rathdown street, a French brassiere with lovely simple tasty food. Great favours, small however power packed menu.
French onion soup with gorgeous rich cheese crouton. Fish steamed with leaks - simple but perfect.
Great service, warm and cozy. Lovely for Melbourne winter evenings.
Highly recommended.

I've been coming to this wonderful restaurant for a number of years and find the warmth, hospitality and food a great experience every time. The chef and his wife are the best Francophiles with classic dishes - the stuff you remember a French Bistro for as well as new dishes available.
I highly recommend this place, go in, take your coat off, sit down to a beautifully but simply laid out table, order a drink, relax your shoulders and start reading the menu while Jenny gives you the specials.

It has a quality the dutch call gezellig, that captures the cozy words of comfort, warmth and relaxation.
