Great beer selection. We had the Pirate Life honeycomb stout and the Hawkers Chocolate lager. Plenty of different vegan/vegetarian options on the menu, which is awesome to see. We had the No Porky burger and bangers and mash. The burger had a good kick to it and the bangers were a perfect choice for a wintery day. Very friendly and attentive staff despite being super busy with the festival patrons from Festival Hall.

Incredibly delicious food.
I had the vegan Fish & Chips which exceeded my expectations.
My friend had the chicken and grain salad - also very tasty.
The service by the one bar tender on duty was fast, friendly and welcoming.
I will definitely be coming back here!!

Great little local. Was in the area for the day and popped in. Good choice of beers, great vegan and meaty options, friendly and chatty bartender, nothing pretentious about the place. Hope to be back in Melbourne sometime for another drop here.

You don’t get pubs like this in the city much these days. Great owner, Fkn ripper food (best vegan stuff goin round) and really great range of beers on. Really lucky I moved next door and get to visit here so often!

We went there for a meal before the football, we both ordered steak chips and salad it was one of the best steaks we have had for a long time it was great. Had an old pub feel about will be back again next game.

If you are Coeliac seek out this location, as almost all good can be done as GF to suit coeliac. Good selection of traditional pub feeds.
