The Waterside Hotel

I'm so happy that this is a great pub because it's nice and close to us! We had a family dinner on a Wednesday night. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted warmly by staff. We found a really comfy booth table in the bar area to eat at. We ordered a porterhouse steak, the burger and a Parma, all were lovely quality (better than usual pub quality) meals and reasonably priced. Very friendly service. Our search for a good local is over! Edited: went back again and it was just as good. We went for a drink on the rooftop and then sat in the dining room to eat. Still great service and good quality meals.

Great place for an affordable and quick business lunch. $22 for Steak or Parma with a beer or house wine. G was fabulous with his prompt and friendly service. I have been wanting to take a look for some time at this bar / pub and I was not disappointed. I love the decor, the various options for seating and the size. Unfortunately I did not get to see the roof top bar. Certainly worth a visit.

We had a group of 13 people. The booking was super easy and we got a pretty big table. Went there during lunch time and lunch special are very reasonable priced. Note that there is no table service so you do need to service yourself but the food is good and comes to a house drink (beer, wine or softies).
