Piccolina

This picolina has just opened to replace the one opposite the road, absolutely love the vibes of the place. Crowded as always even in winter so make sure you are comfortable lining up for a while. They have plenty of options to choose from, even with dairy free and vegan. They also have weekly specials - which is Twix and NY cheesecake at the moment but get in there early because those usually run out by post dinner time. Definitely a favourite local ice creamery!

Had a pleasant experience at piccolina today, the staff was very welcoming and helpful, there were tons of options to pick from, sad that they dont do testing but the staff explained the flavors pretty well and even showed me what it looked like. Just one thing left me a little disappointed is that they were all out of cones, so I had to get a cup, but that is a minor issue that is out of their control.

Delicious ice cream served by friendly knowledgeable staff. I went to the Glenferrie Rd store last Saturday night and the team were under the pump but remained calm, polite and very efficient. The new shop looks amazing and well worth the visit, indoor seating is available. The staff made great suggestions and the young lad who served me was fantastic! white chocolate, stracciatella and salted caramel are the best.

Not that great overall - the chocolate was really nice, the ‘so called’ peanut butter was vanilla choc chip ice cream and no peanut flavour and when I told them they said it was peanut butter. Salted caramel tasted like slightly burnt butter, it went in the bin. White chocolate was bland. For the cost, we won’t be going back.
