It is not often that I have Indian cuisine so it is a little more difficult for me to review this restaurant as I don't have much to compare to however this is my impression of the meal. We had the veg Manchurian and coconut prawns for entree. The prawns were coated in a soft batter, not crunchy as is prepared in some other Asian cuisines. The veg Manchurian was quite spicy and although I did not mind some people might find it too hot to handle. For mains we had the goat curry and prawn jalfrezi accompanied with kuchumber salad lachha paratha and cheese and garlic naan. There wasn't much meat in the goat curry, mainly large pieces of bone. The lachha paratha was not flakey but the cheese and garlic naan was nice. For dessert we ordered the gulaab jamun with icecream. This dessert would probably be a dish that I would not order again. I'm not saying it was bad, just not to my liking. Many of the dishes we ordered, we had not tried before so was a bit of a new experience. I will note that there were quite a few Indian patrons eating at the restaurant when we dined and this may indicate that the restaurant serves good and/or authentic food.

Had butter chicken and spinach based curry. It is tasty, but probably could impove more to think about how to make meat soft otherwise taste a little bit boring. I love decoration, atmosphere is nice. Patiala goat Beef vindaloo.

Avoid at all costs. Worst service I've ever seen. Over an hour wait for entrees. Had to ask for nearly everything - clean table, cutlery, forks, glasses for our water. Rice and naan delivered so late that the curry was finished, despite waiting until it was nearly cold. Plastic spoons with dessert was a nice touch. Overpriced too. Shame as the food was OK.

Nice atmosphere. Service was also quick. I was just not assigned a table at good position but my fault that I did not even ask for a better one. Food is ok ( Curries felt bit salty and my tea take away cup was not properly capped which almost ruined my shirt )

We had a mixture of meat and vegetarian curries, which had exactly the level of spiciness we had asked for. The dishes tasted great and were delivered promptly. The dahl dish that we tried was also pretty good. I would definitely recommend this place as a good option for Indian food in the CBD.

Delicious Indian food (Thali) at reasonable price. We came here for a farewell lunch. Getting a thali and drink and still < $30. Food is delicious and tasty. Authentic Indian food. I had the tandoori chicken and it was juicy and spicy - the way I like it. Waiting time for the food can be a bit long. And remember to book in advance. I would recommend this place.

We had the Butter Chicken which was really good, however there wasn't that much chicken in the gravy and the portions are super Tiny!! You got to order like 1 dish person. The Naan & Roti were standard. Would recommend the Fish dish & the chicken dish (1 above the butter chicken in the menu)

Great place serving one of the best Indian food in CBD and probably in Melbourne. Nice spacious decor and extensive menu. Food is prepared fresh and will thrill your taste buds. They also offer different spice levels in curries from mild to Super hot 🥵 take your pick and make it known upfront. Try the laccha paratha for a true North Indian paratha experience
